Thank you, Philippe, for your enjoyable exhortation and your encouraging words. So many interesting conjectures! I wish I'd thought of using the Realm breaches strategically like that. Analysis like this makes me aware of the possibilities I haven't considered.

Oh my! You sure got that right. Poor old Ranevargar - what a day he's had - what with a wonderful gift of healing from Rhys and Keiran, a whirlwind tour of many of his Groves, concentrated teaching sessions with Keiran, the huge decision to awaken his Dragon construct, and now suddenly stricken with paralysis - Did Keiran's portal effort malfunction, or is it something even more serious? - 'sidetracked' has to be an understement.

OMG! This comment is an inspiration in its own right. I'm working on it right now - well, not quite - I use the mornings to write new stuff and the evenings for revision and editing - but stuff's definitely happening.

In fact I love my Dragon software. All my writing is done longhand in notebooks and this two finger typist would go crazy without the transfer to computer by simply speaking. The drawbacks like homophones are minor compared to the drudgery of hunt and peck.

Cliffie? What's that? 😉 Yes, who? - well, I suppose we have some idea - but paralysed and helpless and he's a Realm Lord - what can that mean for all the companions? We'll have to wait and see - oh! that kind of cliffie -fancy that - drop over in a week's time and much will fall into place. Whoops! The coarse words are now running as they should. Thanks for pointing that out. I blame (1) the speech recognition software for making the change from my hand written notes and (2) my poor old brain for not even noticing. (Ironically the software is called 'Dragon')
