It wasn't really that short. Just a lot of things going on Suki's trouble. I think Lacey was keeping out of the way because she didn't really know what was going on This was all James!!

I love this story. Mirri is adorable, so excited and innocent. Jarra is steadier, but needs more looking after than Mirri does. I feel they will be good for each other

This was a lovely sweet story, but why so short!!! I want to know more about these two. I love Hani. I want to see him grow, see his curiousity encouraged and explored. Sigh. I've been without a computer for a while. I've been keeping up on my phone and gutted I couldn't review. I should go back and review all the chapters, but I've got a million and one things to do now my computer is back, so I'm going to be lazy and pick up from here. Way to go Jason for his resourcefulness. It's a shame it wasn't in time to save Devyn, but at least he bought time. Thank heaven for the Sherrif's spot on intuition. It's always good when a dirty cop gets rooted out. It looks like Brad's reign is over, but.... I think Jason and his cop friends need to get a move on, because I have a feeling that paring knife is going to be lodged in flesh pretty soon, whether Devyn succeeds in burying it in Brad or whether he's intercepted and gets a taste of metal himself. The problem is that even if Devyn gets the knife in Brad there's still Sam who hates him and the other cronie whose name I forget. I'd like to think Chris and Trent would step in, but who knows? Great storytelling.

The next few days were an utter nightmare for Sacha. I love to read stories about people with disabilities, especially those likeMirri whose disabilities allow them to see the world in a different way. I can see immediately that I'm going to love Mirri It's a very interesting start and I will definitely be looking out for the next chapter.

My favourites off the top of my head are Omorphi by Cody Kennedy. It's a borderline YA with themes of recovery from abuse and is a great adventure. The Statue by Zathyn Priest which should be a must read for young people and explores issues around mental health and the nature of love. It's a light read but is so profound it astonished me Also by Zathyn Priest The Curtis Reincarnation which is about a melting down rock star who is so cute I want to put him in my pocket and cuddle like a kitten and his Amara books which are about...unusual vampires and weres. Lucius' Bite by K-Lee Kline has it all - shifters, witches, gypsies Vassily the Beautiful by Angel Martinez is based on a Russian Fairy Tale and I LOVED Babba Yagga Its an unusual tale of constructs and a dystopian world that is awesome 'Alex' and 'The Shed' by Dianne Hartsock are my current raves. They're not for the feint hearted and border on horror...well no I guess they cross the border because there are some quite vividly gruesome scenes. I'm totally fangirling on all these books, so you should enjoy at least some of them Between them there are a lot of genres and styles

I scent the tempting aroma of shit hitting fire I wonder what the wild card is going to do. I have a feeling that once Jason knows the truth he's going to wind up being a match for Brad. I hope so, for Devyn's sake. I feel that a very bad time indeed is coming up for Devyn as Brad expresses his displeasure for upsetting his 'teacher'

Thank you. I started to write a sequel, but it kind of got pushed aside for other things. I didn't like that the baddie got away. But I guess it was meant to be because I just haven't been able to kick start it.

Ariel's magic Ariel is...Ariel. It's impossible not to love Ariel - especially if he wants you to. Unless you're a fairy of course, when you will be more likely to look down on him than love him.

Lucifer is a cat. Cats are jerks He totally believes the world revolved around him and he can't be arsed about anyone else - except Nick. With Lucifer I tried to get into my cat's head It was an interesting experiment

Ariel's something of an enigma. He was fun to write. How do you write emotion for someone who's never felt any, without him becoming so overwhelmed he spends the whole book huddled in a corner whimpering? I hope I managed to get a balance

I see pictures very clear in my mind - the image of Lucifer lounging is VERY clear Yummm. I think Lucifer is angry with Sam for not taking better care of Nick It's true, Sam was diminished, but he's going to be minished again soon

WOW Thank you. I'm a great advocate of the journey being as important as the destination and I'm glad you enjoyed this journey. I have to admit that I did have a lot of worries about laving the story there, but, as you said it was already epic, and if I were to explore even a little further it would take another book, and I very, very seldom write sequels, unless the characters tell me they want to. In this case, I think my boys are happy to be left alone now
