The Boot - Stories

This fictional story shows how people from different backgrounds can try to support others in a time of desperation, few real tales of homelessness have a happy ending.

It is written as a tribute to those who in the past and present have given and continue to give either time, money or other support to homeless shelters across the globe. Also in the hope that it will inspire others to do so in the future in whatever small way that they are able.

The Boot three years on. There have been some changes and improvements to The Boot, partly thanks to fund raising and charitable donations, and in part thanks to Christian Edwards benefactor to The Boot. Some 'guests' have moved on, some remaining homeless, but others having been helped are now in independent accommodation either working or looking for work. This is the continued story of The Boot, it's staff and 'guests.'

It is not necessary to read The Boot beforehand but it may help to understand some of what is happening now and in its future.

Karma is seen as a powerful thing, we often hear how this affects bad people and bad events. But did you know that karma can also come to those who are good people? Good karma can be more powerful and can come in surprising ways.

Aunt May is a special lady, not because she is famous and not because she is rich. Well maybe she is rich, rich in love and she shares that love. So yes maybe she is rich.

The New Boot has opened and is operating in a similar fashion to its predecessor. As we would all suspect The New Boot generates new stories, some good and some not so good. This is one of those stories and takes place around The New Boot's first Christmas.
