I feel like I am bound to misery
Nothing can free me
No compliment can penetrate
No praise can be given its proper value
No touch will soothe the ache
No emotion can stitch the wound
No love can reach what has already been boarded up
forgotten
unwanted
untouchable
Regrets are built on the missed opportunities of another's grace.
If my future is created from my history, then I look forward to more of the same.
Forever alone.
Even when not alone.
