Poetry Fail - 3. # 3

A smile on my face
But sour taste in my mouth

A laugh on my lips
But sore cramps in my heart

Evasion is my weapon
Distraction is my key

My joy is made of hurt feelings and sorrow
But genuine nonetheless

My comfort is the product of predictable pleasures and unwanted misfortunes.

To understand me, a challenge
To love me, a virtue

To have expectations of me, a risk
To have faith in me, a blessing.

Believe.

Wonderful truly. We are all complicated and you are telling someone just that. And one who loves you will just what you ask, just believe.
Loved it ...
