Friends Here on GA

They are an odd collection of people from all over the world

They are young and old, sweet and sarcastic, funny and strange

They welcome you without knowing you

With gentle words and jokes you begin a daily change

First there was Maria who read my poetry and commented

She offered out her hand and then a second pair of eyes

Then came Mark and Stu who were teasing each other

But when I started in on them it brought more than just sighs

Frostina came into the circle and read the work as well

Before you knew it she was a friend and now we’re thick as thieves

Cia came along and pointed out mistakes

And Nephy comments on your profile like autumn’s falling leaves

Lugh seems grumpy but hides his sense of humor

Jian was the next to join the circle that was growing

First he played the friend, then a reader, and then became a beta

This group keeps getting better and shows no signs of slowing

Mikie is there with kind words to say

Will is there like a hurricane when he comes blowing in too

Trevor pops in and comments on all

But there are others who I see too little of, like Bleu

Skon comes in and talks of music with me

Audi has a ready hello for all but talks when he knows you

Freddyness shares some scary reading tastes as well

While Bee tosses out comments that are like curve balls

Prince Duchess talks of food and makes us all drool

Cailen writes, edits, and makes avatars for those in need

Bugeye Sam, our man of few words, speaks little but says so much

And there is Anya whose comments will often mislead

KC jokes with everyone when he isn’t falling apart

Rustle says coffee isn’t good in the heat and offers tea

Curti stops by with a smile and a giggle

While Sara offers stability in her Kingdom by the Sea

They come into chat or stop on your page

Their comments bring smiles and tears

Despite all the distance between us they have become friends

And in writing, all of them are my peers

So if you come looking for friends here at GA

You won’t have to look hard to find them
