Just Some Poems - 5. imposible

why do we love,

why do we fall for people,

who do not even know us,

who are impossible to reach.

life is said to be precious,

but love makes it better,

so much better,

so we try find love.

to me love is fabled,

you and i exist in love,

only in my imagination,

in dreams of hope.

you and i have never crossed paths,

nor will we ever,

not until the sun rises from the west,

not until the world is at peace.

the meridians that dictate life,

can only be changed by will,

only then will our paths cross,

so send a smile in my direction.
