Poems, Old and New - 9. Love – the test of time.

Love is simple,

Love is fine.

I am yours,

And you are mine.

 

I have you now

I won’t let you go

I will always be here

To go with the flow.

 

Push all you like,

Take all you need.

Shout at me,

Yell and plead,

 

When you’re done,

And ready to rest.

I’ll pull you close,

We’ll pass this test.

Caz - beautiful poem. I love the way no matter what the other person does to the narrator, the narrator will always be there for him/her. Just beautiful. :)

Well, as my hubby will admit I can be a right :X when I want to be. I lash out and...well...you get the idea.

 

He is always there with a :hug: and :kiss:

 

As I will tell anyone True Love conquers anything.
