Wesley And Seamus

Chapter 14: Aftermath and Ending

By Wesley Lewis

The next morning hard on Melvin after the incident at the police station. On the one hand, he was devastated that this father had died but on the other he was happy that he no longer had to fear harm from him. Wesley had been trying to comfort him half the morning. At the same time others in the Oates home was contemplating just what life meant. Wesley and everyone took turns visiting Melvin including Brandon coming over and just sitting with him.

During this time, Jason and Jesse were discussing whether they should continue with the wedding plans or not. They weighed the pros and cons of waiting to get married, keeping on the same schedule, or just going to the courthouse They were both against continuing the plans the way they were so that only left two options for them. They discussed it over and over and concluded that they should wait for now. It just happened that Wesley heard this decision and said they shouldn’t put their happiness off for the sake of anyone. After hearing this they decided to move the wedding up to just one week away. First though, they had they had to get the proper documentation, and everything sorted before going to the courthouse.

It was a hectic week, but the day had finally come. Everyone made their way to the courthouse. The only others in attendance were the Finnegan family to serve as witnesses. It was over in a matter of minutes, but the effect would last for a lifetime. The men who had been childhood friends and had lost that friendship had regained so much more.

so there it is the last one. don't worry you'll see these guys again someday.

See I'm not totally evil am I?

Have I ever suggested that you’re evil? There are plenty of GA authors that I read that I’d suggest were evil (too many cliffhangers, protagonists who choose the wrong partners, story arcs that go in the wrong direction, etc). And then there are the people on GA that I’ve had to block!

That was a short chapter but it’s a shame that it took so long to post this chapter it it appears almost as if you just wanted to finish the story as it’s an abrupt ending.

First I'm sorry it took so long to post this chapter. I didn't want to just end it as you said. It's not the ending for these characters. The ending is a bit abrupt but that's honestly because I couldn't think of a way to end it any better since introducing Jesse the last chapter would always be to end in his and Jason's marriage.  I'm sorry if you're a bit disappointed but I thank you for reading
