Re-Verse - 8. A Key for Everything?
A meditation on the humble key.
Keys are universal
Keys are mine alone
Keys are release
Keys are restraint
Keys are freedom’s joy
Keys are safety’s bars
Keys are routes into new worlds
Keys are instruments of repression
Keys are hope given new life
Keys are old regrets buried
Keys are submission, freely given
Keys are equality, grudgingly allowed
Keys are music to the ears
Keys are silence imposed
Keys can be weapons, used for good or ill
