City of the Dead

Jamie’s dad died unexpectedly and he never got to say goodbye.  This bothered him because the last time he’d been with his dad they had a disagreement that never got resolved.  Jamie learns that there’s a place in New Orleans where he might be able to rectify the situation and make contact with his dad’s spirit, but he doesn’t want to go alone.  He asks his friend Drew to join him, and Drew agrees, and together they embark on an adventure that doesn’t go exactly as planned.

Loved the story but would liked it more if Jaime would have got his head out of his ass and confessed that he really cares about Drew and that he is gay

Response from the author:

The intent of this story was to offer a little Halloween scare, not as a love story.  Even though some guys are willing to fool around a bit, it doesn't mean they're gay, and that was the situation here.  Jamie and Drew are just good friends.
