The Castaway Hotel: Next Generation Book 4 13. The Castaway Hotel

There are currently no reviews.

Danny and Brandon are running the 'Hotel', with Josh's help.  Dion and Trey also have their own family, and with the members of their extended family they collectively experience many moments of joy, along with a few tribulations.

I’m doing things a little differently this time.  I usually write the entire story first, before I start posting it, but I’m not going to do that this time.  I’ll try to stay several chapters ahead of you, so my editors and beta will have time to go over the chapters first, since I know that looking over my story isn’t the only thing they have to do.  I will try to post one chapter every week, unlike the two chapters per week in the past, but I may have to skip a week every now and then.  Part of the reason I’m doing this is that I’m having vision problems and would like to get this posted before the situation gets worse.  I hope you enjoy the next installment to the Castaway saga.
Respectfully,
Bill

I'm so sorry to hear about you ".. having vision problems and would like to get this posted before the situation gets worse".

It sounds like AMD or RP and while I'm sure you got a 2nd opinion, I hope that whatever the cause, you're being taken care of.

As for CHG4, (as an editor) I'd like to suggest that you consider dictating / recording the upcoming chapters & volumes/Books so that when the time comes where vision is an issue, someone can transcribe your recordings. Your writing is a gift to all of us, and (perhaps) hearing you* do 'books on tape' would be an even greater gift.

By the way, I often suggest that writers create a chapter / book outline (like Cliff's Notes) so stories aren't lost when...

Thoughts and prayers are with you. (there's no emoji).

Tony

Ps * You reading your CH series HAS TO sound better than Wm Shatner (aka Capn Kirk) singing. Figured new Ps ends on a lighter note or at least with a chuckle for you. :D

Thank you for your thoughts, concerns, and suggestions.  Right now I'm managing this somewhat, and not being online as often or working every day on the story has helped, so I won't resort to dictating it yet.  However, I will consider that option if the situation deteriorates further.  Thanks again.

I am looking forward to seeing another book in this series if your health will allow it. You are an awesome author and I love your books. I started reading this series when it first came out and loved every minute of reading it.

Thank you, Bev.  I appreciate your feedback and your support.  I'm working on another series right now, a paranormal/shifter story, and that's taking up most of my time, so I'm not sure if I'll be getting back to the Castaway series.
