   (1 review)
Sub-genres: Soft Sci-Fi, Vampires

The year is 1987, and an aging Tokyo crime boss with a shady past has called on a very old friend for help with what he believes to be a dire situation. There is only one hope for the future in his mind, and the sharing of this secret comes at a heavy price. But is he preventing an apocalyptic clash between the humans who walk in daylight and the vampires who live in darkness? Or is he igniting a conflict that will ultimately end in the anihilation of both? Can this close vampire contact from his past save that which he values most?

Wow! This may be one of the side stories that I’m going to be most upset about never getting the conclusion. Still, a great read.  Action-packed excitement… plus a glimpse into Natpea.

Think…

Bruce Lee’s “The Way of the Dragon” as he builds this final confrontation against the character played by Chuck Norris. The build-up is akin to a duel from a Western, ramping of the anticipation as Lee’s character, Tang is battling Norris’ character, Colt.  And just as Tang reaches up and rips out the chest hair on Colt… the movie ends.  Ugh!

Yeah, that’s this story.  But still awesome!
