A man contemplates the journey his life has taken, and the way the music of love has overcome the profound silence he has felt for so long.
div>This story was meant to be read along with the music, “The Cloud Atlas Sextet”, from the film “Cloud Atlas”. For the Cloud Atlas film, director Tom Tykwer as an accomplished pianist, Tykwer composed the entire film's score with partners Johnny Klimek and Reinhold Heil. This short story was largely inspired by the emotions I experienced while watching this film, and so I found the music to be fitting to accompany the story.
