This fiction sequel to "About Carl" follows the story of Mark, Dan & Carl a few years later. It takes place in the same fictional Selkirk County of Eastern Ontario, Canada. Mark is caught up in a political scandal that puts a strain on his relationship with Dan, while Carl continues to complicate things.
This is a wholly-fictional sequel to the "creative non-fiction" story About Carl. It isn't necessary to have read About Carl to follow this story, but it would help to provide some backstory for the characters of Mark, Dan and Carl.
Much of the story involves Mark's involvement in Canadian politics. For non-Canadian readers, the Prologue gives a brief civics lesson on Canadian government & politics to help explain some of the unfamiliar terms used in the story.
