In this short story we are introduced to his sidekick, Danny Fink (Prompt 113 - Challenge). Together they investigate a fire at the Pink Flamingo club.

Feels like a short noir story about a nightclub arson case. It has this old-timey feel to it that some readers will enjoy.

Yes, I get the noir fiction because Matthew is self-destructive and the setting is a small club in a little back street filled with exuberant drag artists.
