In a post-apocalyptic world, Vampires reign supreme and Humans are destined to serve them until death. Alaric is a Resistant who has sworn to free his kin. Unfortunately, one of his missions goes awry. Not only is he captured, but he also piques the interest of the most dreaded Vampire of all: the Mad Baron. From then on, Alaric has no choice but to cooperate with the species he detests above all else; a collaboration whose secret could hold the only salvation for Humanity and the world.
