Thoughts of a Wolfpup. - 1. Poem #1 - Wolves Cry.

Wolves Cry

Wolves may howl and wolves may be strong.
To some, they are kings and majestically sound.
To others, they are family, In pack and solitude.
But let me tell you, that's not always found.
Sometimes they're sad, they don't howl, they cry,
into the dark, noir sky. Aka: fighting for their lives.
They are asking for help and trying to fit in,
with the darkest thoughts of all.
The knowledge and creature inside them that,
screams and yearns to come out.

Chapter Comments

A poem as haunting as the call of the wolf.  I remember watching "Dances With Wolves" and wondering about their cry. Your poem inspired that memory.
