Seth on the Road to Chaos - 28. Chapter 28

After kissing me, Craig held me tightly in the hallway. We pulled apart when a nurse’s aide came out of a room. We were heading back to Blake’s room when Mrs. Reinhart came out.

“There you are,” she said as she approached. She took my hand. “Let’s go someplace where we can talk.”

I gave her a puzzled look and asked, “About what?” She didn’t respond. She gripped my hand tighter and pulled me away. “Can Craig come with us?” I was confused why she wanted to talk to me. She was supposed to be helping Blake.

“I’d rather it just be us,” she replied. She then politely asked Craig to return to Blake’s room. “We won’t be long,” she assured him. He gave me a puzzled look and then walked away.

Mrs. Reinhart continued to hold my hand as we walked down the hallway. When we came to a small sitting room, she took a seat and asked me to sit beside her. I asked, “What’s this all about?”

She replied, “I was watching you in Blake’s room. Everyone was laughing and having a good time. However, you looked like you were at a funeral.” She gripped my hand and squeezed it tightly. “You want to tell me what is wrong?”

“Nothing’s wrong,” I stated adamantly. I felt like she was intruding in my life. I didn’t want to talk to anyone about my feelings. Besides, I wasn’t even sure of them myself. I started to rise. “Can I go back to Blake’s room.” She held my hand firmly and wouldn’t let me leave.

She asked, “Does it have something to do with leaving your home and going to your father’s?”

I gave her a puzzled look and asked, “What do you know about that?”

“I spent this morning with your mother and Stacy,” she replied. “We enrolled Stacy in a different school. Your mother told me she already talked to you about it, so I don’t feel like I’m telling you something I shouldn’t.”

“How do you know about my father?”

She squeezed my hand and replied, “I’m going to have to be careful what I say here.” She hesitated a moment before continuing. “Your mother and I had a long conversation while Stacy was being introduced to her new teachers.” She squeezed my hand tighter and said, “She knows she made mistakes when it came to raising you and Stacy. She’s very sorry.”

I didn’t know what to say. I was afraid if I spoke, I would break down crying. My mother feeling sorry seemed so shallow. I had endured years feeling like I was unloved and unwanted. Saying she made mistakes didn’t justify the mental cruelty that I endured for so many years.

Mrs. Reinhart asked, “Did you hear what I said?”

“Yeah,” I replied angrily. “I heard you.” I don’t know what came over me. Perhaps, I was tired of holding back what I was feeling. I began to unleash years of frustration. Mrs. Reinhart listened patiently without interrupting me.

I was crying when I finished. She held my hand and asked, “Tell me about your encounter with your father.” I told her I was happy to finally see him again. However, I also felt like a stranger in his house. I told her I wasn’t sure I could fit in living with him.

When I finished, she said, “One thing you have to your advantage is your age?” I gave her a puzzled look. “You’re sixteen, right?” I nodded my head. “You’ll be seventeen in a few months?” Again, I nodded my head. “Next year you’ll graduate?”

“Yes,” I replied.

“Do you plan to go to college?”

“Yes.”

“You only have less than two years before you head off to college,” she said. “At your age, you have a right to make your own decisions until that time. You can live with your mother or your father. You can also live with Marie and Steve. I know they would gladly accept you into their home.”

“But they are taking care of Blake now,” I said. “I might get in the way.”

She smiled and replied, “I doubt that. But what I’m trying to say is, Seth, it is entirely up to you what you want to do.” She squeezed my hand tightly. “Trust me when I tell you that your mother wants you to return home. I’m referring her to a friend who is going to meet with her weekly to discuss how she can make things better at home. I think you’ll also see a big difference in Stacy. She’s going to receive some excellent counseling. I would also like to set up a few sessions with you to discuss your feelings. Would you like that?” I shrugged my shoulders.

“I haven’t met your father,” she continued. “But I can tell by the things you said that you are somewhat disappointed. I think you had this idea in your mind that living with him would solve all your problems. However, he has a new family now. You said he has a daughter. You’ll have to accept the fact that you will be living in their world, not the world that you thought it would be.”

Tears started to appear in my eyes, and I wiped them dry with my sleeve. “It’s not going to be easy, Seth,” she said softly. “Just remember. You only have a short time left. You’ll go off to college, and you’ll begin a new life. Do what you feel is best for you.”

I nodded my head and replied tearfully, “Thank you.” It was my decision. I could live with my father and try to fit in his world, or I could go back to my mother and hope that things would improve. Mrs. Reinhart seemed like the counseling might help. I would love to live with Aunt Marie and Uncle Steve, but I feel like I would be robbing Blake of the love and attention he deserves. He would have to share it with me, and I wanted him to get it all. I am also concerned that if we lived together, we would have sex together. He was now getting closer to Ty, and I had decided that my future was with Craig. I didn’t want to rule out having sex with Blake, but I thought it was best if we lived separate lives. Also, Aunt Marie and Uncle Steve might be uncomfortable knowing that we were having sex if we shared a bedroom.

“Give it some thought,” she said as she squeezed my hand. She reached into her pocket and handed me her business card. “Call me next week and schedule an appointment with my secretary. We’ll talk some more then.” We rose, and I hugged her tightly.

“Thank you,” I said appreciatively. She smiled, and we held hands as we returned to Blake’s room.

Blake was excited when we entered. “Guess what, Seth!” I asked him why he was so excited. “The doctor came in and said I can leave first thing in the morning. I have to stay one more night, and then I can go home.” He looked quickly at Aunt Marie. “I mean go home to your aunt and uncle.”

Aunt Marie walked over to Blake and pulled his head into her bosom. “It’s your home now, Blake,” she said softly. When Blake pulled away, he had tears in his eyes.

He gave me a pouty face and said, “You have to do something for me.” When I asked him what, he said he didn’t have any clean clothes to wear when they discharge him. “Can you go get me something to wear?”

“Yeah, sure,” I replied. I asked Aunt Marie if it was okay for me and Craig to go to their house and bring Blake back some clean clothes. Uncle Steve handed me his keys and jokingly told us not to take the big screen television.

On the way to their house, Craig asked me what Mrs. Reinhart wanted to talk about. I told him about the choice I had to make. I asked him what he thought. “Your dad seems like a pretty cool dude,” he said. “But I only got to talk to him outside for a few minutes. Did you two hit it off?” I told him the feelings I was having about living with him.

Craig asked, “Did he tell you why he never visited you since he left?”

I shrugged my shoulders. “He said Mom wouldn’t let him.”

“I don’t know, Seth,” replied Craig. “If my old man left, and Mom told him he couldn’t see me or Bryan, he would break the door down trying to get in.” He laughed slightly and added, “Well, maybe Bryan. I’m kind of on his shit list right now.”

What Craig said made sense. I really never thought why Dad hadn’t tried to see me. Mom and he both said it was because she wouldn’t let him, but they never said why. I was small, but he just walked out of our lives one day. I wondered if he ever tried to see me. He knew what schools I attended. He could have waited for me and Stacy to get out of school one day and surprised us. But he didn’t. Did he really want to see us again? He’s a good father. I can see that by the way he treats Emily. Why couldn’t he have treated us that way?

“But I don’t want to live with Mom again,” I said sadly.

He insisted, “Your Mom’s not that bad.”

“You don’t have to live with her,” I replied.

“But she always treated me nice,” he said.

“Yeah,” I replied sadly. “She always treated you better than me.”

“I know you had a hard time around the house,” he said, “but you brought a lot of it on yourself.”

“Me!” I shouted. “How is it my fault?”

“From what I could tell, you always came home and went to your room. Stacy said she hardly saw you.”

“That’s because they hated me,” I insisted.

“Did they really hate you?” he asked, “Or did you want them to hate you?”

“What’s that mean?”

“I don’t know,” he replied. “I just never saw you make any attempt to get along with them. It was as if you lived in your own world.” He smiled and added, “I was always trying to get you to talk to me, but you wouldn’t have anything to do with me.”

I laughed and said, “I was jealous.”

He reached over and put his hand on my leg. “I know that now. But if we hadn’t come out to each other, you still wouldn’t be talking to me.”

“Was I that bad?”

“Yeah, Seth,” he smiled. “You were. You’re like a different person now. Since we’ve been together, and Blake became our friend, you don’t hide in your bedroom anymore.” He squeezed my leg and added, “I like the new Seth.”

I smiled and said, “Yeah, me too.” Just then we pulled into Aunt Marie’s driveway. When I opened the door, Craig pulled me down the hall to Blake’s room.

He tossed me on the bed and threw his body across mine. “God, Seth,” he moaned before kissing me passionately. “I want you so bad right now.”

I couldn’t resist. I let him strip me naked. I watched as he rose and stripped off his clothes. He lay back across me and we made the most passionate love since we first began. Thirty minutes later, we lay exhausted in each other’s arms.

“I love you,” said Craig as he kissed me passionately.

“I love you more,” I responded with a kiss.

Reluctantly, we dressed, and then we looked around for Blake’s clothing. He hadn’t brought much with him the first night he stayed. We searched through a shopping bag and found a shirt, jeans and sneakers. I went into my uncle’s drawer to get him a pair of socks. He didn’t have any underwear and Uncle Steve’s was too large. Craig offered to take off his, but I told him that was gross.

“He’ll just have to go commando,” I laughed.

Craig laughed and said, “Ty will like that.” We high-fived and left the house.

When we arrived at the hospital, Blake and Ty were alone. Ty jumped from the bed when we opened the door. I laughed when I noticed a tent in Blake’s hospital gown. I laughed and asked, “What were you doing, Ty? Giving Blake a blowjob?”

Craig elbowed me and said, “Looked like it to me.”

“I wish,” replied Blake as he pressed on his erection. “I’m so fucking horny right now. I could go for a blowjob.” Ty giggled and reached down and gripped Blake through his gown.

Craig laughed and said, “Go for it!”

“No way,” responded Blake. “What if someone walks in?”

Craig replied, “I’ll stand outside the door. If a nurse comes down the hall, I’ll knock on the door. Seth can stand in front of the bed and block them from seeing you.”

A smile crept across Blake’s face as he looked at Ty. “Go on, Guys,” I said. “Blake, Ty gives the best head.” Ty’s face turned a bright red.

“Go on, Guys,” said Craig excitedly. “Seth and I got off a little while ago.”

Ty looked wide-eyed at me and asked, “You did?” It was my turn to blush. Blake had pulled up his gown and showed Ty his erection. Ty licked his lips and asked, “You sure we won’t get caught?”

“Naw,” laughed Craig. “Now, get your boyfriend off.” He left the room and stood outside. I laughed when I noticed the door was cracked slightly so he could peek in. I stood at the front of the bed so I could watch. I was already hard from the thought of watching Ty suck Blake. It was exciting to think that they might get caught by someone.

Ty didn’t hesitate as he leaned down and engulfed Blake’s swollen cock. He raised up and shoved it completely into Ty’s eager mouth. “God!” he moaned. “Where did you learn to do that?”

I laughed and said, “He has a banana each morning for breakfast.” I watched excitedly as Ty continued to deep throat Blake. I remembered how good he made me feel when he did it.

“Holy shit!” shrieked Craig as he peeked his head inside the door. “That’s hot!” He asked excitedly, “When do I get my turn?”

Ty started giggling as he continued to suck Blake. I think he was getting turned on knowing we were watching him. Suddenly, Blake’s body went rigid as he pumped several days cum into Ty’s mouth.

I laughed again when Craig exclaimed excitedly, “God Damn! I’m hard as a rock out here. I hope no one comes by and sees me.”

Blake lay back as his chest heaved into the air. “Damn, Ty,” he moaned. “That was great.” Ty leaned down and kissed him.

Suddenly, Craig began knocking on the door. Blake pulled down his gown and tossed the blanket over him. Ty and I rushed over and sat down in chairs. Craig came into the room adjusting his erection. A nurse looked in and asked if Blake needed anything.

When he told her no, I burst out laughing. She gave me a strange look before leaving. “You should have told her you needed a towel to wipe your dick off.”

Ty grinned, licked his lips and said, “I already did it for him.”

Craig leaned over and said, “Dude, that was hot. Where did you learn to give head like that? You took all of it without gagging once.” Ty blushed and said he had been practicing with bananas in the morning for several years. Craig laughed and replied, “Fuck bananas.” He reached down and gripped his erection. “You can practice on this anytime you want.”

Ty’s face reddened as he replied, “Maybe.” He looked down at Blake and said, “Sorry.”

Blake grinned and said, “Why are you sorry? I don’t own you. You can suck Craig and Seth’s dicks if you want.”

“Fuck yeah,” exclaimed Craig. “I can’t wait until I get some of that.”

I frowned and asked, “I’m not good enough?”

“Yeah, Baby,” smiled Craig. “You’re good. But what I saw Ty do to Blake, he’s a master.”

I gripped my cock and said, “I know.” Craig raised his hand, and we high-fived.

I looked at my watch, and it was getting late. We had school in the morning, and I needed to finish a couple of homework assignments. I was already behind, and I didn’t want to miss more work. Craig and I slipped out of the room while Ty remained behind to kiss Blake goodnight.

As I took Ty home, I asked him he we had embarrassed him in Blake’s room. He confessed that he thought it was hot that we had watched. He even asked if I would get jealous if I did suck Craig sometime. We talked about what I had said earlier about being able to love several people. We agreed that he could have Blake as a boyfriend, and I could have Craig, and it wouldn’t bother us to share them occasionally. We even reached over and played with each other. When I dropped him off, he offered to give me a blowjob in his driveway, but I told him it was too dangerous. Someone might see us. He did give me a quick kiss as he jumped from the car. “I love you, Seth,” he said as he waved and closed the door.

Dad and Holly were in the family room watching television when I entered. Holly was on her laptop computer, and Dad was sitting in his recliner. He appeared to have been asleep. He sat up and looked at his watch. “It’s late,” he said. “If you’re going to be staying here, we would appreciate it if you we home before Emily goes to bed. If she’s awakened after she goes to sleep, it’s sometimes difficult for her to go back to sleep.”

“Sorry,” I muttered. “I’m going to the room. I have homework I have to finish.”

I left without giving him a hug which I had been doing. He made me mad. He sounded like Mom. He didn’t ask how my day had gone, or if Blake was okay. All he was worried about was that I might awaken Emily. I went to my room and worked on my homework assignments. I thought he might come in and say goodnight, but he didn’t. After I heard him and Holly go to their bedroom, I took a quick shower and went to bed. It took me a long time to go to sleep.

I was beginning to think that I wanted to return home. I didn’t feel that living with Dad was the right choice. As Mrs. Reinhart had said, I only had a little over a year before I would head off to college. Then, my life would be my own to live. The decision I needed to make now was if I should return home or stay with Dad. Dad seemed glad to see me again, but I don’t feel like he really wants to take me in. As he had said, he only offered me temporary shelter to unwind. He might resent if I decided to make it permanent. He has a new family now. I would just be in the way. Like tonight, he seemed to demand that I be home at a certain time. Mom never did that. Of course, I never went out, so I really don’t know how she would have reacted if I came in late. Besides, it was only nine-thirty. That didn’t seem like an unreasonable time to me. He knew where I was. I wasn’t out drinking and partying.

I also don’t know what to expect if I return home. Mom said she and Stacy were getting help. But will it be enough? Our lives had fit into a pattern over the years. Even Craig blamed me for some of my problems. And he was probably right. I had built up a barrier around me. I had blocked everyone from my life. Now, I was changing. The problem might not be if Mom and Stacy were changing. Now, it could be if I was changing too much. I had friends I loved. I would want them to be around more often. Craig was my boyfriend. He would never be allowed to visit me. After Dad’s reaction tonight, I’m not sure he would accept the idea either. He would probably be afraid that we might do or say something in front of Emily.

“You look like shit,” laughed Ty when he jumped into the car. I told him I hadn’t slept very well. He gripped my hand and squeezed it. “It will be okay,” he tried to assure me. That’s what I like about Ty. He seems to know me better than I know myself. It’s like we are always on this same wavelength. Even before we became intimate, he seemed to always know what was bothering me when we walked around the mall. It is surprising that we didn’t come out to each other sooner. I guess we were both afraid of ruining a good friendship if things didn’t go well.

As the two days before, nothing happened at school. Some students seemed to be upset with us, but they didn’t say anything. Craig complained at lunch that some of the football players were really upset and giving him a hard time. He said the past few days of practice hadn’t gone very well. Coach Abernathy was very angry at their performance, and he was making them do extra laps around the track. He said one of the offensive tackles mentioned my name, and the coach exploded. He angrily reminded them I was no longer on the team, and he didn’t want to hear my name again. I could tell it hurt Craig deeply.

Ty had been calling Blake between classes all morning. He excitedly informed us at lunch that Blake had been released from the hospital. We agreed that we would meet after school and visit him. Craig laughed, leaned over and whispered, “You gonna put on another show for me and Seth?”

Ty’s face reddened as he replied, “Maybe.” I laughed when Craig reached down and rearranged himself.

Aunt Marie was home when we arrived. Uncle Steve was still at work. “Blake is in his room,” she said as she pointed down the hall. “He may be asleep.” When we opened the door, he was lying on his side away from us. He rolled over and smiled when he saw us. Ty rushed over and gave him a kiss.

Blake looked at me, and Craig and asked, “Where’s mine?” Ty moved back while we kissed him. We sat down on the bed and talked. He told us how happy he was to be out of the hospital. We talked about him returning to school. He seemed skeptical, but we assured him that we didn’t have any serious problems. Some students shunned us, but most seemed to pretend that nothing had changed. I told him that Amber wanted to see him. He asked if I could bring her by sometime. He said he didn’t blame her for her father asking him to leave. She was one of the few people he could depend on until we entered his life.

I rose and told the guys I was going to go get something for us to drink. Aunt Marie was preparing dinner. She asked if I would be staying. When I asked about the others, she said they could eat with us also. She was going to make a big pot of spaghetti, and there would be enough to feed an army. When I warned her that Craig was a big eater, she said she would put some more spaghetti in the pot.

I sat down at the counter and watched her scurrying around the kitchen. She kept giving me a puzzled look. Finally, she pulled out a stool and sat across from me. She asked, “What’s on your mind?”

I had wanted for the past couple of days to be alone with her. Something had been bothering me, and I needed to know the answer. “Do you know why Dad left?”

She sighed and said, “I thought we might have this talk. To be honest, I don’t know all the details. Your Uncle Steve and I lived in Albany, New York, when you and Stacy were born. I’ve asked your mother the same question before. She just gives me vague answers.”

“Did I almost kill Stacy when we were born?”

“Your mother told me that,” she replied. “I know Stacy has had a lot of problems growing up. Every time I suggest that she gets help for her, she gets very upset. She says she can take care of it.” Tears welled up in her eyes. “I’ve watched how she has almost abandoned you. There were so many times I wanted to pull you out of that house and bring you here.”

“Why didn’t you?” I asked. “I was so lonely.”

“It wasn’t my place to,” she replied. “You weren’t being abused or neglected. If you had been, I would have gone to court and have you removed. I knew you were unhappy, but you seemed to be doing well. You were going to school and making good grades.” She gripped my hand and squeezed it. “I honestly didn’t know it was that bad until lately.”

“It’s been a nightmare,” I replied as tears filled my eyes.

“Your mother is trying,” she said. “I introduced her to Carol. She’s going to get her and Stacy counseling. She pulled Stacy out of school and put her in a special program. Let’s pray that that does some good. She knows she’s made mistakes.”

I shook my head and replied, “I don’t know.”

“Give her time, Seth,” she insisted. “People do change.”

I then asked her something else that had been bothering me. “Why didn’t Dad ever visit me? He only lives about ten miles away?”

She sighed deeply and replied, “Again, I don’t know. All I do know is that your mother said she was afraid of him taking you and Stacy away from her. She went to court after their divorce and got a restraining order against him.”

“I still don’t understand,” I said. “If he lived so close, why didn’t he even try to see me? He could have done it without Mom knowing.”

She frowned and said, “You’re right, Seth. I often ran into him at the grocery store and the mall. I even met his wife a few times. He’s got a cute little girl. When you were about ten, I asked him once if he ever tried to see you and Stacy.”

“What did he say?”

Aunt Marie shook her head and replied, “He said he did try, but he got tired of dealing with your mother. I think he was married and was trying to start a new life.” She reached for my hand and gripped it tightly. “I don’t think he really wanted to see you and Stacy.”

“That’s what I thought,” I said. I rose and kissed her on the cheek. “Thanks for talking to me.” She hugged me and told me any time I had a problem, come to her. I went to the refrigerator and took out four sodas. I then headed back to Blake’s room.

When I entered, Craig was quickly pulling up his pants, and Ty was kneeling on the floor. He jumped up with an astonished look on his face. I grinned and asked, “What’s going on guys?”

Blake began laughing from the bed. “What do you think is going on? Craig has been harassing Ty since we got here to deep throat him like he did me in the hospital.”

I looked at Craig and laughed. “You didn’t?” His face blushed as he fixed his pants and adjusted his cock.

“Well,” he stammered nervously. “I wanted in on the action too.” He then grinned and added, “It felt sensational! He’s a pro!” I looked over at a very red-faced Ty. He still had drops of Craig’s cum on the side of his lips.

I smiled and asked, “What about me?” I didn’t have to say anything else. Ty dropped to his knees and pulled my shorts down. Craig walked over and leaned against the door in case Aunt Marie tried to enter.

“Damn!” exclaimed Blake when I came a few minutes later. I pulled up my pants and sat breathing heavily on the side of Blake’s bed.

Craig walked over to Ty and pulled him into a hug. “Your turn,” he said as he dropped to his knees. He told me to go to the door and lean against it. He didn’t do as good a job as Ty, but Ty seemed satisfied when he came in his mouth.

We sat for the next two hours on Blake’s bed. Occasionally, I would lie back and rest my head on Craig’s stomach. Blake rested on Ty’s stomach as Ty ran his hand over his head. I had never been happier as I was huddled on the bed with my three best friends.
