Gordy Comes Home

   (5 reviews)

Gordy Belser is coming home, to small-town Texas. This causes John Grant to reflect on his life. Could he have kept Gordy from leaving in the first place? If he had, would they still be lovers? Seems John is not happy with the choices he has made. Being gay was not even considered until he met Wylie; college roommate and eventually his best friend. How they deal with having gay sex is not the best way. But it worked for them. Didn't it?

I found this story on a friend's favorites list yesterday afternoon, and I haven't put my phone down for 14 hours. This story is perfect. The characters are amazingly real, the twist will knock you down, and the emotional range, from the highest highs to the depths of despair, is, frankly, stunning.

At first I feel cheated they say it is 17 chapters I count 16 including the prologue.  The story was very good I did enjoy it a lot, are you going to continue it as another story or is it over and we never find out what happens.  I did read all 16 chapters today. So far I have enjoyed the 3 stories that I have read.

Read this story years ago, don't know why I did not write anything then but...

This was so well written and the pacing and story development were truly first rate.  I just could not stop reading this when I found it.  Even though I actually knew in the first couple of chapters how it was going to end, and I was right, the story and writing just kept me so engrossed in it.  This was well worth any time it took to read this.  The character development was brilliant.  I truly laughed and cried in equal measures while reading it.

Just wonderful.
