For almost a whole day, Jonah doesn’t really believe it. This isn’t the way people die. Not in real life. Not in suburban Greater London. People get hit by buses, they die in car crashes, they get sick—cancer, liver failure, heart disease. They don’t get stabbed walking home from a party with their lover.
The title was shamelessly stolen from the album and song Sleeping With Ghosts by Placebo.
This isn't very horror-y for a horror story... It was meant to be a lot more horror-y, but mostly it just turned out a bit sentimental. I apologise for that.
Rated mostly for language, mild horror and some minor sexual themes.
