An Apologetic Attempt At Adequate - 10. Chapter 10: A Sun Shiny Sky

A Sun Shiny Sky

A sun shiny sky

Warmth etched across a back

Stops me in my track

A heart at peace

A mind about to cease

A promise I must keep

At least once a day

Be happy for me

At least once a day

Here is the chance

To perform this play

How often I look to the sky

Beauty presiding there

While I walk my garden this night

Two gardens

One an infinite expanse

One a finite picket fence

A promise I must keep

At least once a night

Be happy for me

At least once a night

Here I will dance

You always got your way

Dream of me this night

Journey till you find me

Meet my lips with fingertips

At least once more

And promise me

At least once more

Once a day

Once a night
