Write 100 to 500 words in a plot with the three themes, based on your roll. And, to the glee of the Grinch, also known as me, who wants to hoard them all, you can just use words with just one beat in your whole plot. Whew! What a test of your skill! Just say you want to play, roll the dice, and share your themes. *It’s a help, not a cheat, if you find words in the book or site with lots of words that show more words that mean the same thing. Post your piece not seen by Dec. two-one and send me the link. Not sure just what any of this means? Send me a PM. Need to vent re: the grinch theft of the words? I just got an email from NaNoWriMo about the second session of camp in July! Just wondering if anyone is interested and if we might have like a support forum/thread for those of us that are. This certainly could turn into the support thread if there's enough people interested! I just thought it would be a good idea to bounce ideas off of those in the GA community. My experience with the cabin system has been less than pleasant with 4/6 dropping out the last time I participated. Same kind of challenge, 50,000 words in the 31 days of July. I will definitely be participating. I missed the last session unfortunately because I totally forgot it had been moved to April. >_<* So yea, let me know what you think!

So for the last few weeks we talked about describing words, adjectives and adverbs. This week we're going to go on in a similar vein but it's all creative. No restrictions on length, genre, etc... but what you do have to do is describe the images below somehow. Decide what they are, what they do--if they do something--and share that with the rest of us. Example: Describe it: An elaborate, abstract design of lines and dots raised on a silky white background. Show it as a blurb: The disease presents first by the loss of all pigment. Over the course of hours the skin raises with an elaborate mark on the patient's back. This appears to be immensely painful. Only one patient has survived to the completion of the mark. At 0600 hours he broke the restraints and fled. He is currently the subject of a city-wide manhunt. Write it: Actually, you know... write the scene. Add in some sort of actual resolution and answer. What is the mark? Why did he survive? What will he do now? Other images to use:
