Three talented gymnasts from the Naval Cadet School of Sevastopol—Dimitri, Alexei, and Ilya—are sent to a luxurious dacha under the pretext of securing sponsorship for their team. As they navigate the complex dynamics of their mission, including manipulative adults and the intense bonds of adolescence, they uncover unsettling truths about ambition, control, and trust. "Operation Ganymede" takes place in 1943 at a summer camp of the Hitler Youth (Hitlerjugend) located in Bavaria. The story primarily follows the character of Arnfried Klein, a 14-year-old boy recently integrated into a camp where the boys undergo rigorous physical and ideological training under the strict supervision of Nazi officers.
