Bill Vickers is a man with many names. He works for the government but what he does isn't so nice. For a long time he's been tracking the elusive Lane Hardy and finds him on Adermoor Cove.

After a battered and traumatized Moira Compton gives her testimony on what happened to Moira, Lane Hardy teams up with the police department to track down the creature that took her.

Reeling from the events of Part 4, Lane and Carlos deal with the consequences in their own way. Having accepted Aunt Vanessa's legacy, Lane has officially settled into the lighthouse, Lane discovers his presence in the town is not welcomed.
