What a fun word to say!  I love it.  Even more fun are the dozens of synonyms for this word.  Words like ballyhoo, bobbery, corroboree, hoo-haw, hubble-bubble, hurly-burly, kerfuffle, and willywaw are just a few.  It originated in the American West, and first known use was in 1848.  Foofaraw was used to describe frivolous trinkets, baubles and gewgaws.

I love the Merriam-Webster.com site. ❤️

Which reminds me, Myr.  Thanks for helping me with my foofaraw (my big fuss over the buttons not working) last week!
