Isn't lawyer French for con artist? No one I know has had a satisfactory experience with the pettifogging scammers.

I've had loads of positive experiences, especially with the unethical ones.

When I first looked at it, I thought the word was pettiflogger, and following the same logic of dealing with small and unimportant cases - well...
