Hans Solo is the archetypical knave: a roguish, handsome smuggler with a fast ship and a faster draw. In the end, it didn't make any difference whether Hans or Greedo drew first. It was Greedo's brain painting the wall.

Apologizing for the mess and leaving a tip to cover cleaning it up absolutely nailed the character.

Knave was also the term used for the jack in a deck of cards.
