Fight! Fight! Fight!

Its Chris writing today....David is feeling sorry for himself tonight, because he got smacked good on the nose today...Here's the version of the story I got when he came home. He said that his security were following some guy who they thought had stolen good's, they stopped him at the door, but David being himself couldn't just leave them to do there job's. He decided he would help stop the guy when he decided to run. Obviously the guy didn't like this because he smacked him in the nose. Not broken or anything just very red and swollen. I suppose I should have been more caring and sympathetic when he came home, but im telling you it just looks so funny. He's spent the last two hours pouting at me looking for some sympathy. I relented and gave him a hug and kissed it better. Bless him he looks like a reject from santas reindeer auditions :) . He's pressed charge's againt the guy for assault so at least he'll get some come back. I think he's more upset today because I never finished my DIY shopping list he gave me. But when the text came through to tell me he'd been assaulted and was coming home came to my mobile. I panicked and drove straight home to see him.Poor baby, I'd better go and look after him now, he looks all sad and upset. Don't laugh to hard when you read this because his ego is a tad dented :)Bye for nowChris aka ChrisScott (as im now being called  )

Having had some experience with nose smacking (I of course get it often with a rolled up newspaper) I can understand the humiliation.

The only time I really came close to breaking my nose was in college, I was going into the lab one weekend and opened the heavy glass door to the building right into the bridge of my nose (yea I'm kinda clumsy sometimes :) ). Thank IDer it only blead for a bit and wasn't broken. The funny thing was that I didn't have to lie about it because the truth was so stupid, people just assumed I was lying :D

Great story, Chris!

That Dave got involved comes as no surprise. He definitely comes across as a hands-on manager. Too bad, though, that he's decided to use other body parts as well. :P

What a man you are, Dave! :2hands: "Where we go one, we go all!"

So was the jerk who assaulted Dave confirmed as a shoplifter too?

I was wondering if you men have laid down some ground rules for posting stuff about one another? Maybe you should look at that.

My goodness, what kind of store is that place? Fires, assaulters, next we'll be hearing about Dave finding two customers going at it in produce aisle!

 That's a great story ChrisScott, I'm sure Dave will be able to laugh about it after his ego and bruised nose get better.

Take Care,

Vic

Chris and Dave,

The important thing is Dave is all right..next time, remember that Security is there for a reason...

Remember Dave, you are the General of your Store and you have trusty troops to look after and keep your patrons and you and your staff safe.

Ok, enough of that...now Chris, don't forget to keep kissing Dave's boo boos and other parts so he feels all better:) I would have done the same thing you did with the txt message..drop everything and run...You both have had some very busy exciting last couple of weeks....maybe quiet snuggle and other close encounters are just what the doctor ordered:) (well you can play doctor and patient too:)

Tell Dave we all hope he feels better.....and to get rest...well, with Chris as his doctor, hee hee..maybe a different kind of rest:)

People like that really need help :(

Im going to go sick tomorrow because A: The sun is going to be out & B: Chris is crap at DIY shopping!

So you're saying he's a hero because he's in a relationship? I'm not sure I buy into that one.

Mark, I said Dave was a hero and he is a good guy for many reasons...that has nothing to do with his relationship with Chris.

You interpret as you wish. Matters not a wit to me.

Nor worth further reply.

Oh. I didn't realize that's what you were saying. I liked your General/troops analogy, although there are those times when something really exciting is happening and even generals get involved. Besides, the troops like to see the brass in there, getting their hands dirty. So good for you Dave!
