I got one yesterday too. 82 in a 65. The trooper bumped it down so it was "only" $100. Golly, thanks.

The guy was a dick, which bothers me since he sorta works for me in the sense that I'm a taxpayer. I can't say much about the ticket itself, since, well, I was speeding.

As for the ticket...well if it makes you feel any better one time a couple of months ago I went downtown to pay a ticket for expired registration. Parking downtown is a nightmare, and I had to park in a metered spot. Naturally, the wait was horrendous. Turns out when I got back outside my meter had expired and I gotten a ticked THREE MINUTES before I'd come out!

Then on the way to work that same afternoon I stopped at a light, no one was coming so I went. Turns out it was one of those lovely new "photo enforced" lights. A week or so later I got another ticket in the mail :wacko: So basically I racked up two tickets while trying to take care of one!!

LOL, honestly red lights just irritate me. I find it really hard to sit there and wait after I've stopped and made sure no one is coming, since then I've racked up another "photo enforced" ticket ( ) and gotten away with the same activity countless other times ( )

*sigh* I suppose I really haven't learned my lesson, but it's because I disagree with the general regulation itself. It's just stupid to sit there and wait at an empty intersection!
