Things have been good but bad at the same time lately. I just got a f**king speeding ticket for going 88 in a 60. It was bound to happen sooner or later with how I speed, but it still pisses me off! Oh well... that's what defensive driving is for.

I would write more but the boyfriend is getting pissy that I'm still online.

If you're really upset, just tell the boyfriend you need something to distract you. If he's any good, he'll come up with something 0:)

Seriously, don't take things too seriously. In the total scheme of things, a speeding ticket is not that high up on the list of things that matter.

I got one yesterday too. 82 in a 65. The trooper bumped it down so it was "only" $100. Golly, thanks.

The guy was a dick, which bothers me since he sorta works for me in the sense that I'm a taxpayer. I can't say much about the ticket itself, since, well, I was speeding.

Boyfriend?? I think someone left out some pertinent information.

LOL, I noticed this too!

Congrats on the new boy, Joe!

As for the ticket...well if it makes you feel any better one time a couple of months ago I went downtown to pay a ticket for expired registration. Parking downtown is a nightmare, and I had to park in a metered spot. Naturally, the wait was horrendous. Turns out when I got back outside my meter had expired and I gotten a ticked THREE MINUTES before I'd come out!

Then on the way to work that same afternoon I stopped at a light, no one was coming so I went. Turns out it was one of those lovely new "photo enforced" lights. A week or so later I got another ticket in the mail  So basically I racked up two tickets while trying to take care of one!!

LOL, honestly red lights just irritate me. I find it really hard to sit there and wait after I've stopped and made sure no one is coming, since then I've racked up another "photo enforced" ticket ( ) and gotten away with the same activity countless other times ( :2thumbs: )

*sigh* I suppose I really haven't learned my lesson, but it's because I disagree with the general regulation itself. It's just stupid to sit there and wait at an empty intersection!

errr, anyway I think I just had my own rant in your blog...sorry

Good luck with everything and take care! :D

No shit, that's how it always goes. And if Michelle sees that you said my name like that, she's going to hunt you down and hurt you :P But I don't think she knows how to find the blogs yet.

Have red lights ever been optional? I always assumed that if they weren't flashing, you had to wait, no matter what.

Oh yeah, I always go through them and dismissively sigh "eh, maybe next time" 0:)

Wow. I mean, I've thought about that, but never actually followed through. I totalled my first two cars, and since then I've been VERY careful when driving. Especially since I live in Los Angeles, where normal streets + freeway trained drivers = crazymotherf**kerohmygodwhatthehell ishedoingohs**tohs**tohs**twe'reallgoingtodie!

I live there, too and you know, I think that learning that saying should be a part of the driver's test out here, don't you?!

And umm, Joey, my favorite little cowboy... if I have to come over there to get you to be SAFE (you know cause I love you and if you end up hurt I'll be VERY sad and worried) I will... (remember the tie/pocket/change incident??)

That is all

AND, I just don't see it. He'd reach for his belt buckle then turn all red.

I don't think he'd even get that far... but I have seen him get out of those clothes damn fast ;)
