Great day wasnt it?

Before I say about today, I want to tell about last night.

So last night was our chorus concert, and Justin evidently got a ride with this weird kid we kinda know named Shawn, because he's giving him guitar lessons, but he doenst know that much himself, so I guess it's like the blind leading the blind. After our group sang, Justin and him went to leave, and that kind of bothered me because it was a Lorena free night, so I thought maybe him and I could hang out a while, but I knew Shawn wasnt really competition so I just shrugged it off and went to watch the rest of the concert. Well I was sitting next to my aunt and she asked me to go give my baby second cousin's baby seat to my cousin so that my other cousin could get her vehicle back or something. As I'm exiting the auditorium, I see Justin, Shawn and this hot guy named Allan talking. This really caught my attention because my watching him every so often in chorus, I assumed Allan was a prep and stuck up and stuff. So, I went over and said hey and evidently my prep-dar is broken and this Allan is really cool, and now my only way of knowing if ia person is a prep is watching for people wearing only Hurley, Abercrombie and Fitch, and Quik Silver shirts, lol. Justin was talking about some crazy idea to start a band, and while he's talented on keyboard, none of us really know how to play anything, although it'd be interesting seeing that Allan playing his violin (he's in orchestra) in a band :P . So as the classic moral goes: don't judge a possible prep by watching from afar (or more classical, a book by his cover...lol).

TODAY WAS LIKE THE BEST DAY I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME! I had made plans with my old teacher/mentor, if you will, to come show her my puppy, Xander :P , because she hasnt't seen him since he's been like a month or so old and he's 4 months the 18th. I took him there and him and their dog, Moses, played good for a while (and Xander's horomones kicked in a few times, for the first time, and he tried "humping" Moses while he was laying down  ). Well then she had to take Moses to get his shots so I was driving home, and I decided to swing by Justin's and let him see Xander while getting to see him. We talked outside for a while and Justin started talking that his back tire was low on air, and it was...it almost looked flat! So he asks me if I want to run to the gas station with him, so he goes and tells his dad that we're going. I was pretty damn sure most gas stations had an air gauge, but Justin's dad dint think so, so we tied Xander in back and go anyway. We get to the gas station and ask them if they have a tire gauge. They did (ha! take that Curt :P ). We fill up his tires to 44 PMI and go back. After a little while, Justin said something I didn't expect him to - if he could come over later. I wanted him to so bad, but my mom SUCKS with a capital SUCK at keeping up house, not that she's bad at it, its just that she doesnt do it period <_< . So I negotiate with him that I'll go home, clean up and then I'd call for him. It took me about an hour and a half to clean the entire house because my mom still had boxes and crap from when we moved sitting out, and we had like 5 chairs, a couch and a loveseat in our living room because we recently got the couch and loveseat and the obsessive compulsive mom didnt want to take her chair down to the basement. Well screw you mom, I did it anyway. I got it all cleaned, I'm talking litterally almost spotless, and I call him to tell him he can come. He quick called his mom to double check and didnt call back, but instead shows up 10 min later with his guitar. We messed on the keyboard for a while, then played the PS2, I made us a gourmet meal (hotdogs wrapped in a wet paper towel microwaved then put in a piece of bread with mustard, canned corn with margarine and salt, and a glass of hot ovaltine :2thumbs: ) and then after about 2 hours or so after him being there, my mom gets home. Well when I made that food, I didnt eat much because 1. I dont eat pork or margarine, and 2. The grand opening of our Applebees was supposed to be tonight, but it wasnt so my mom and dad decided to order pizza. We invited Justin to stay for pizza and we watched a movie while we where eating, but half way through his mom called and told him to come home because they needed to go to Wally World to get groceries. My mom speaks up and say that she needs to have me get some stuff too, so suggests that I go with them. So to make all that you didnt care to read above :P short, I got to spend from about 4:10 till almost 11 with my best friend, the entirety being Whorena free (the nice thing about us hangin at my house is that she can't call to check up and keep him from spending time with me).

*Sigh* Yep it was a good day :D

LOL sounds like fun, Xander. I don't eat pork or margerine either. Also give "preps" (and every other "group") a shot. You'd be surprised, there's good people in every crowd.

Xan...um, I agree with Friendly and it looks like Alan could be another friend...so, give him a shot....and see what develops..time to expand Xander World....hey didn't anyone tell you that having such a cute puppy is a great conversation starter...a way to meet cute guys and people in general (everyone loves puppies....) Just ask them...they will all want to pet the puppy, ask you a zillion questions (how old is the puppy, name, is he poop trained, etc.) and a great way to start to get to know someone...so start taking Xander lots of places with you...I bet he helps you make new friends:)

and um, the band, who cares if any of you can play..its a Boy Band and an opportunity for you all to bond and have fun..which really, isn't it what its all about? and if you end up being really good...you can play and you get to attract hot Guys and for the str8s in the Band, they get to attract hot girls....so the down side of this is?

NONE....encourage Justin..it will be a way for you and Alan and your friends and the Guitar Blind Guy who can't play to jam together and have some laughs and friend bonding time:)

Sounds like you are on your way:)

Happy Weekend:)

Preps can be cool.

All you gotta do is get their clothes off.

But... I digress. Some of the gayest people I know are the preppiest clothes horses on the planet.

Lol, I think we may have a different breed of preps here where I live because the kind of preps I'm talking about are ones who think they HAVE to have the most expensive clothing and feel they are better than everyone else and crap. I'd know because my brother transformed into one in the past year. He joined wrestling, became anorexic because the f**king coaches are pressuring them to "make the weight" and shit. He lost a bunch of weight and made his way into the prep crowd, and even when he knows we arent even close to being rich, he expects and pressures my mom to buy him the best clothes. God, I'd just like to smack him sometimes because he is such a little dickwad about things. So I don't have anything against people who wear nice clothes, I just cant stand people with the prep attitude.

Xander,

I have to agree with you....that is how I know 'preps' to be and they were that way in high school, college, etc...I call them "Label Queens".....drives me crazy...and they let you know how much a shirt or jeans or suit or sweater costs and the label associated with it and the latest fashion etc...and heaven forbid you don't have those right clothes....I just look at them and say well, my jeans are from Costco and the Costco label (Kirkland), and I am proud of that...jeans are jeans....I dress neatly but I sure as heck don't die if I don't have the latest Dolce and Gabanna, Abercrombie, etc..even the correct underwear that costs a fortune just for a label (I won't buy Abercrombie (besides it really is for the teen set and I don't think their stuff is very fashionable or fits well or even looks nice..its very drab) because they have been cited for really bad sweat shop stuff overseas) or the "right" kind of jeans or cell phone or other such things...I don't mean to belittle those who enjoy fashion and are really into it..I just bemoan the Label Queens who are like robots and don't think outside the box or run with the herd etc....the way you described them says it best....what happened to individuality? grrrr!

Funny, I was just thinking of your Boy Band..there is a way for you to hang out with your BFF (except be aware that the GF may want to get in on the practices..maybe you guys can make a no GF/BFs allowed during practice jam sessions......gives you quality time with the BFF and your new found Band mates!)

and forgive me for generalizing and stereotyping..but I think you hit it right on the mark in your post/blog as to the preps/fashionista Label Queens!
