Random Fact:

 

Although considered Founding Fathers of the United States, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams did not sign the Constitution. They were serving as U.S. ministers overseas and did not attend the Constitutional Convention.

The Titans are a team with a lot of problems. Collins is a stable, not brilliant quarterback and can't really be expected to carry the team.

 

A few years ago the Titans bet the ranch on Vince Young as the franchise QB of the future and he's just not ready for the pressure or the attention.

 

Collins, drafted in 1995, is a stop gap measure at best.

 

There are a few backups around the league that the Titans could make a deal for like David Carr with the Giants. They had Chris Simms and let him go to the Broncos.

 

At this point in the season, they are stuck. No one can come in and "fix" things. Offensive systems take years to master. Looks like a long year for the Titans.

Yeah it's too bad the Titans didn't snatch up Michael Vick.
