My Curse

I wrote this after reading the 'Would you have sex with someone who was HIV positive?' thread a bit back. Just kinda felt like sharing it

 

 

It is my curse to carry

That you shall never know

How the sight of you

Burns within my breast

This spell you have cast

Has consumed my soul

But alas my love for you

Is what must keep us apart

I dream of our life together

Though I know it will never be

For if you fell victim to my desire

It would surely be the end of me

So your life I protect

By destroying mine

It is my curse to carry

That I shall love you from a distance

Until the end of time

What a beautiful and moving piece. I personally am inclined to believe that there is love out there for everyone
