Krista Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 That poor pumpkin... Steph...! Save him! Lol.. that's neat.
Caipirinha Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 I did a pumpkin!!! okay, so it's kinda silly looking. I was going for this, but couldn't find a green pumpkin large enough... I think maybe I like your version better :-)
steph Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 (edited) I think maybe I like your version better :-) lol, thanks! many people at work thought the same! turns out that I won an honorable mention in our pumpkin custume content at work, mainly because people couldn't agree on which category it fit into --scariest, funniest, best overall... I think the only category that it wasn't voted in was lamest... at least I hoped not. Edited November 1, 2008 by steph291
corvus Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 OMG! Funnily enough, there were fliers with that pictures plastered all over my campus... I haven't carved a pumpkin in years.
steph Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 I haven't carved a pumpkin in years. Neither had I! In fact, I don't really remember ever carving a pumpkin... my family never did it when I was a kid.
Benji Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Neither had I! In fact, I don't really remember ever carving a pumpkin... my family never did it when I was a kid. .....That's kinda sad, did you go trick or treating?
steph Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 .....That's kinda sad, did you go trick or treating? Yes! We always went trick-or-treating. We always decorated, too --just never carved pumpkins that I can remember.
Benji Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Yes! We always went trick-or-treating. We always decorated, too --just never carved pumpkins that I can remember. .........I have carved, later sculptured pumpkins every since I was @ 6 years old, damn scanner I got won't process older pics I have at this time. In sculpturing, I skin a large pumpkin that has at least a 2" wall and pronounce the nose and lips allowing the candle within to focus on the highlighted portions of my work. Three years ago I grew a 200 pounder and spent better than 4 hours on it. I wish I could find that pic.
