Steve3 Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 I took some photos very early this morning, and later. 12.2 inches (recorded) @ Alliance Airport. Look Here: http://tinyurl.com/yajspoe

Jack Frost Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Congratulations. You have gotten more snow than Montreal throughout winter now.
Mark Arbour Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Maybe God is just trying to cover DFW up?
Jack Frost Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Or Jack Frost is keeping aiming all wrong?
Gregoire Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Ah, your snow is intimidating, but my entire little town is closed down. Click here for details
Tiger Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Yeah, I'm basically snowed in. Just to give everyone an idea of how rare this is. It didn't snow at all last year, and the only time I've seen snow before this was on Christmas Eve, and it melted on Christmas day. A mesquite tree across the street lost a huge branch from all the snow and ice. There are tree limbs everywhere, and there are reports of roofs collapsing all across the Metroplex.
Site Moderator TalonRider Posted February 12, 2010 Site Moderator Posted February 12, 2010 In the Philadelphia area, 1996 is the current record holder of 33 inches of snow for a single storm. The storms that went thru this area on the weekend of 2/6/2010 and the storm that came thru starting on 2/9/2010 have given us a combined total of 44 inches.
JSmith Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 Ah, but the donuts in the parking lots were amazing! So much fun! 1

Tiger Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Well, another warmer day or two and the snow will be gone except the giant piles from parking lots.
Steve3 Posted February 15, 2010 Author Posted February 15, 2010 Well, another warmer day or two and the snow will be gone except the giant piles from parking lots. Yeah, there were these guys w/little bobcats, set up as plows, charging WallyWorld stores up to $1000 but plow their parking lots. There are NO cities in North Texas who even own snowplows. Steve4
