methodwriter85 Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 There's a trending YouTube video that parodies 1917 against the 2020 backdrop of Los Angeles. I wish Blue was still here. He would have loved this.
methodwriter85 Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 (edited) Hey, congrats on Jimmy G (aka my John Carullo fancast) and the 49ers getting to the 2022 NFC championship! Now all that needs to happen is for the Bills to upset the Kansas City Chiefs. Edited January 23, 2022 by methodwriter85
methodwriter85 Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Also congrats are in order for the LA Rams making it to the NFC Championship! Is it weird that I want to do a beer bong with Sean McVay? LOL
methodwriter85 Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 This is an actor named Diego Tinoco who starred in the Netflix series On My Block. He was born (and presumedly?) raised in Anaheim, California. I just love listening to his soothing SoCal accent! The California "slur", as I call it, is really pleasant to listen to in my opinion. I kind of thought of Diego as a Alejandro fancast, but he's a bit too short and bulky for what I pictured. I pictured more along the lines of Manu Rios from Elite as he looked at the 2022 Met Gala.
methodwriter85 Posted August 21, 2023 Posted August 21, 2023 This is so cool! https://twitter.com/HumanDilemma_/status/1693455459280179353?s=20

methodwriter85 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Well, Mark, I know you're a 49ers fan (at least mildly) and I have to say I really was rooting for you guys. Oh, well.
methodwriter85 Posted July 17 Posted July 17 Interesting regional difference. Here on the East Coast, we're more likely to refer to freeways as expressway, and we don't use "the" in front of it. So instead of saying, "I'm going to take the 101 freeway", you'd say "I'm to take 95."
