W_L Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 I've recently noticed things about fashion and tastes. Never been that hung up about exterior beauty, color coordination, or the other aesthetic areas in my life, primarily due to the fact that I only have really one eye to view most of it with. Yet, I've found myself drawn to certain novelties in fashion and accessories as of late. Maybe it's the 60 pounds of weight loss or the severe social isolation of COVID-19, but I am starting to see the appeal of aesthetics like color coordinating earbuds with your shirt Fashion and aesthetics is a personal thing, but it is a fun topic to find consensus on what we think is interesting among all the options out there. Also, I am planning on getting myself a Murse, the male version of a Purse, because I realize it just doesn't make sense for me to be carrying around my cell phone/wallet/keys/wireless earbuds+case/handheld magnifier/ect either in my hands or make my pockets look like I just robbed an Apple store. That's not only a fashion forward and gender statement, but to be honest, it's just more practical to have a handbag that can easily access all the stuff you need in front of you. I'd like to get people's opinions on what kind of Murse I should get as well. Anyone interested in discussing fashion or offering ideas on accessories purchases like a Murse for the man that has too much in his pockets. 1

It would be nice if there's a more ergonomic design for the fanny pack that distributes the weight more evenly around your waste. If you know of any, I'm all ears.
J.L Posted March 3, 2025 Posted March 3, 2025 I used to rely on overstuffed pockets too, but switching to a crossbody bag made a huge difference. It keeps everything organized and easily accessible without feeling bulky. If you're looking for something stylish but practical, a structured leather crossbody or a sleek messenger bag might be worth considering.
Jason Rimbaud Posted March 4, 2025 Posted March 4, 2025 I also you a crossbody bag, don't ask me anything about it, my husband bought it for me one day and threw away my old computer bag. He was nice enough to organize my new one. Mine had a battery pack inside it, to charge cellphones, ear buds, and whatever else I chose to charge there. It's brown leather and is rather comfortable to wear. In regards to fashion, my husband told me the other day that I was no longer allowed to purchase any of my own clothing with the exception of underwear and socks. And he went through my closet and threw out everything he didn't like. I am now a very stylish 50 year old dressed in browns and tans, white, and black. He tried throwing away my shoes but I threatened to cut off his dick if he did. So at least I still have my colorful, flashy, and sometimes what he calls, gay shoes. My favorite pair of shoes, are a pair of hi tops, red soles, and when the sun hit them, they shoot off rainbows on the sidewalk. Those are pretty gay. J
J.L Posted March 10, 2025 Posted March 10, 2025 Speaking of stylish bags, I've come across some interesting reviews on pre-loved luxury handbags, including Hermès options: https://coach-bags.co.uk/8-best-new-hermes-handbags-for-2025-reviewed/.
JarianDaProducer Posted August 12, 2025 Posted August 12, 2025 (edited) When I started caring more about what I wear, especially after losing some weight, I went through something similar. I switched to a crossbody sling bag because it’s comfortable and keeps my hands free. I’ve also used a messenger bag, which is nice for carrying more without stuffing my pockets. Both are good, so it helps to try out different styles in a store. When I want to try a new look without spending too much money, I buy replica clothing. It helps me try different styles and accessories that are usually too expensive. Edited August 12, 2025 by JarianDaProducer
