Feeling Grateful

This may not be the right place for this, but I couldn't figure a better spot on the forums, so here goes.

I am feeling the need to express my gratitude for those who work to host this site, and for those who reach out to help other authors.

I feel extremely honored for my stories to be hosted alongside those of Comicality, Carlos Hazday, dkstories, Mark Arbour, and many others too numerous to mention. I feel especially honored that some of the ones I mentioned have contacted me about my writing with kind words and encouragement.

I, like many others, was saddened to learn that we lost Carlos Hazday, and I feel fortunate to have exchanged a few brief messages with him before his passing. I hope that someday, people might say that I am 1% as good an author as he.
 

If you're new here and need a friend, don't hesitate to reach out, as this community is more than willing to assist with almost any issue you may face as an author. I include myself in that list, and will repay my debt to this community by encouraging others to excel at their art.

When you joined GA you didn't just join a website, you joined a community and extended family. Like all families, we do have our disagreements and squabbles, but we are a welcoming, supportive and accepting bunch who are there for each other. Carlos was an important part of the GA family who will be sorely missed, as will others who have also passed away and we try to pay tribute to them by continuing as they would want us to. We are fortunate to have the founder and group of admin that we have, they work hard to keep GA working for all of us. I believe that you have expressed what many of us feel but couldn't put into words and I thank you for that.

I second what Mancunian said.  This is not just a random site, it's a community and a family - a place where the LGBTQ+ community can feel safe and welcomed, but also find enjoyment in the stories posted here.  We all do what we can to help each other and make GA grow and improve.  None of us operate in a vacuum and we interact with numerous others on this site to do what we can to make this one of the best gay sites on the internet.  Myr and Cia play huge and important roles in doing this, as well as many others who are in charge of various activities and blogs that keep us all informed.  I try to thank them as often as I can, and we should all do the same.

Honestly I haven't been here that long and I'm having a hard time adapting to the forum, but I'm very thankful for it too! After your post it got me thinking and I think I am grateful for many sites. What would I do without wikipedia? Or without youtube? Or for example my favorite site Desiner brands . I'm going to go order some men's outdoor gloves for winter. Love you!
