Ten years later he moves home and has to reintegrate himself in his old hometown with his disability. Eroticism: 7 Character Development: 8 Strength of Story: 7 Overall Quality: 7 An accident during one of the cold, harsh winters of New England left Sebastian Blackmoore without the ability to speak. After the accident his mother and he moved away from their hometown and to a place that was nearly unbearable for Sebastian due to the arrogance to his new classmates. The only way he could express himself was through a violin that was given to him by his grandfather. Ten years later he asks his mother if they can move back again and she agrees, deciding it would be the best move for her son. A few months later Sebastian finds himself at his former school, looking for old friends and trying to get his life back. Silent Violin is a well written story about how one can find love no matter what ones past is like. The way that Sebastian battles back after all of the negativity after he lost the ability to speak is inspiring. When he finally finds love with a boy who was his best friend before the accident the smiles and tears that they share together will keep you reading. 1
Zeoanne Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 The title as well as the description given sounds very good, too bad the writer never did finish it. I might go ahead and read what is there though, then make my own ending in my mind.
