The first thing I thought of, after JP and Wade discussed Elizabeth's plan, is the thought of Alexandria and Elizabeth being in adjoining cells. It is interesting to see Trevor dragged into the plan too. Elizabeth's one fatal flaw be may underestimating Wade. Also she doesn't understand why Wade would have allies like Trevor and his father. Wade will win because he doesn't have all the secrets to hide. Thank you. Mark for another awesome chapter!

Some may see having two narrators is a bad thing. Here is the wisdom of it. We can see the other point of view to the drama in Will's life. More calm and seine heads. We can see the bigger picture. Both Wade and JP have that ability to see the facts beyond the emotion. More is at stake than we thought, much more. Honestly, I am glad we have JP and Wade to clear away the drama. Please don't get me wrong, I love the drama. The drama makes the characters much more real. It is that which makes this story live, the balance between the drama and the reason. Even in this world of CAP actions have reactions. Characters are flawed and even smart people can lose their way. Sounds like the real world. Isn't that what makes us good back over and over again!

Yes the crew is complete. The ship is strong and ready. The mission is set. The adventure begins. Nothing yes nothing is as exciting. George is in his element. Things are so much simpler here. Life and death, good and bad. victory or defeat. We as readers can feel it too. Freedom. A place were the captain is king and a brave and dedicated officer can do great things. They will sail around the world. Gone from home for a long time. But still, it has begun, and we are taken along for the ride. An Odyssey worthy of myth and heroes? Is George up for it? I'm betting he is.

When reading this chapter, one thing strikes me, how much Will is like Brad. Will is giving Brad as much trouble as Brad did JP. The only thing is that Will is 3 or 4 years younger. The next 4 years are going to be hard for both of them if they can't work this out. So far I think JP did a better job. Maybe, Brad can learn from his mistakes. I hope so, because all this stress is not good for any of them. I hope that Brad has Michael watched. I don't trust him. I think Jeanine will be out of the picture for sometime, maybe forever. That is sad and hard on JJ. However maybe JJ and Will can grow closer. That maybe the only positive thing that happens in this situation. Over the last two stories I have seen a change in Will. He is not so self centered and is trying the see things from others point of view. Yes he still has a temper, even a bad temper at times but he is in more control of it. Maybe, he is just growing up. What do you think?

Another outstanding chapter! It looks like George is almost ready to leave for the big adventure. Only God and Mark knows what will happen. I think George has a good crew and a great ship The mission soon will be set. In a few years maybe his son, William, will go with him. This will be a long journey. I hope it will be safe. Only time will tell. I, like George, long for the open sea. Great work Mark!

Over the last few stories my opinion of Brad has fallen to a all time low. Jeanine is sick, very very sick, maybe something she will not recover from. She needs to be put in a mental hospital now! Will has forced the group to look in the mirror and they don't like what they see. Brad and Robbie may joke about Tonto but they better not push Will. I think Will sees the world in black and white almost no grey. People like that are hard to deal with, but people like that change the world. Will has drawn the line in the sand. We will see what will happen. I'm betting on Will.
-
I would not be surprised if JP would sit down next to Will. You would think that Brad and Robbie would have learned something. The older they get the dumber they get. Will stands up for the truth and what is right. His great grandmother would be proud. Mark you set up a poll who was better Wade or Will. Honestly, it is these times I can see why that would be so hard to decide. I voted for Will but I found it hard because both are so good. I can not see Will and Jeanine ever living in the some house any more. She needs to be put some place she can't hurt anybody. She is damaged her relationship will Tiffany, ended it with Will and is deeply hurting JJ, and causing Brad and Robbie problems. Is she worth breaking up the family? What else will Michael and her do? Somebody better stop them before it all blows up in their faces.

The old saying goes " what a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive". It shows what means Elizabeth will go to win. What is even more interesting, however, is that Carl would have the guts to bring his brother to Wade. I think that says something about Carl, his not as bad a person as we think, and that Wade is fairer than we might think. Most people would not have even thought of helping the person the may have hurt their sister, but Wade is bigger than that, more noble, looking beyond the so called facts to find the truth. I guess what is what makes me love Wade. He is not afraid to do the right thing even if it hurts him to do it. This part of the story is the noble prince battling the evil Queen. A story as old as time and as new a the headlines. Good against evil. Some times it may seem that evil wins, like in the movie theater a few days ago, but in the long run good will win. I guess the question that come to mind is to what lengths is Wade willing to do to make sure it does? Is he willing to go as far a Brad or JP? I am not sure. Wade is very good playing this game, very good. He needs to be.

Wow!! Outstanding chapter! I've been listing those who crossed this family and died. Is Michael one of those? I have no regret if Brad does him in. He's been a pain in the ass since the beginning. He most likely set up Pat and God knows what else. How easy is it to disappear in Norway? Maybe for good. A fall? Norway has a lot of place it could happen. On the other hand, I like the person which Will has became. He knows how to get his point across without getting out of control. He learned that lesson well. JJ is going to have a hard time of it if he doesn't grow up soon. Then there is the thought if JJ put Michael up to taking the pictures. Or if Michael is using JJ to get back at Will. Only Mark knows that. Mark, your stories only get better and better. Thanks!

Well here it is 2 O'clock and I'm writing this. I found the last two chapters wonderful. It is interesting how you can get into the mind of a 14yo kid and make it so real. Will is fun, I think the most fun of all the characters in this story. I like him better than I like Brad. Now that is something, because I used to be a real Bradofile. Jeff is becoming a really likeable character in this story and now that he has opened up you can see the problems he has had in the past. One thing that bothers me a lot about this latest chapter is Stef's reaction. When Will left home Stef was in Will's corner. Why isn't he now? That seems odd to me. To see your beloved grandson get attacked by his crazied mother and do nothing? Jeanine is unbalanced at best and maybe truly mentially ill. Why can't Brad and Stef see that? Just wanting things to be better doesn't make them better. She needs help, major help. I would agree that JJ is using Jeanine to get back at Will. It maybe is one of the only weapons he has. JJ wants, no demands, all the attention. And when he doesn't get it he goes nuts. Let's face it, a screwed up family. Will seems like the sanest one around. His only problem is that he wants to get laid. After all he is Stefan Schluter's grandson.

Relationships between brothers can be very difficult. Also being the middle child is not a easy position. The major problem with looking at this relationship , the one between JJ and Will, is that we don't know what JJ really thinks. We have gotten inside Will's mind, but not JJ's. If we look at when Will ran away, and even before that JJ was very supportive. Maybe it was in JJ's self interest to do that. Brad and Robbie weren't there for him too. I believe they love each other, however at times they have a very hard time putting that into words or actions. Part of that is their age, and part is the family they live in. Will is Brad's son and Stefan's grandson. Both of them have not been celibate in the past. I have just reread some of the Brad's past history so we can say that Brad can many partners in the past. Who or what is JJ? So far we can only guess, Why is he reacting the way he does? I think reacting is the best word for it. Then throwing Jeanine into the mix only muddies the water. I believe she is much sicker than everyone thought. Her interaction will Will was hard to understand. Maybe she is causing some the JJ's problems too. Long ago Claire liked Brad better than Ace. Because Brad treating her as a person and Ace did not. I don't think JJ understands that yet, but Jeanine is holding him back. She doesn't want him to grow up. If he does she will lose her last child, or maybe better said control of her last child. I don't think she ever had Darius and now he's gone. Will was never totally her's, more Brad's kid. JJ is it. In her mind her only and last kid. What else does she have? Her whole purpose was been to raise these kids. I understand Maddy is there but there are people who can take care of Maddy. Brad and Robbie have big important jobs. What does Jeanine have? Her relationship is not what she wants. She sees no purpose in her life. That is a frightening thought for anyone, even people who are a lot stronger

There once was a time that a lot of readers were down on Will. The tide seems to have turned. I for one am really glad about that. Will, given his age, is doing better than Brad did. Jeanine is starting to remind me of Janice. That is a sad thought. No one deserves that. I think Will is a stronger person than Brad was as a kid. He is part Tonto and part Stef. Wait and see who he becomes in about 4 years. Watch out world Will Schluter is here! He is poised to make a difference. I hope that all of us can see that in him. He will make his family proud! Just wait and see!!

I feeling that George would rather take on both and French and Spanish Navies than this situation. Thank God he is a peer. One thing I love about George which makes him so endearing is that same loyalty to those whom he loves. Visions of Tonto, JP, Brad and even Will come to mind. Only a one thing needs to happen a replacement for Bertie. Hopefully the adventure will be easier than the preparations. For some reason I doubt it. Great chapter !!

When I get bored, I start at the beginning and read thew whole saga over and over. If you do that you can see the difference between the narrators. During the time all of them have been family except for Wade. Of all those people, (please remember I like Wade a lot) Will is the best. In this chapter we see Will not as the spoiled teenager but the caring friend. Mark I think you are right, Will is at the age which he takes a few big steps forward and sometimes a small step back. JP said that Will reminded him of Tonto. If that is the case, Will is going to be an outstanding person. It is good to see the beginning of that awesome guy he will become. Stef told Will that some things and some people are worth fighting for. Maybe just maybe Pat is one of those people. This family has saved a few circuit boys in the pass, maybe they can save him too. I hope so.

Two of Granger's former ships damaged at best. I wonder if it is such a good idea returning Calvert to the fold. Calvert isn't able to hide his feelings as much as George that might cause them trouble. Add Arthur and Bertie to the mix. The only thing is to add Freddie. It could be a very interesting trip. Great Chapter!!
-
What has happened to Pat? Thanks again for the new chapter! It was a joy to see. Only truly smart people learn from they mistakes and from the problems of others. Will is going down that road. I think Gary will be as good for Will as David is for Robbie and Wade. Finially to see Brad happy that his son is getting the help he need is priceless. Another great chapter.
-
I am glad that I'm not in Wade's family. Now did a great guy like Wade come from such a family? It was interesting how Beau and Wade relate. He's not Wade's little brother any more but they still have a bond which seems strong. I think Wade's father will win the election. The election was very even I'm not sure if many seats changed. As for Mary Ellen, I think she will be much more of a problem for Elizabeth than before. Mary Ellen wants her money and wants it now. To see those two go at it will be real drama. The next few chapters should be something else.
-
Mark, a great chapter! For a time I've been into CAP and have forgotten about George. Both George and I need him to do to sea. He needs that too. The tension is building. He only needs one more officer. Freddie? Would that be grand. A new ship and old friends. Wouldn't that be perfect.
-
I just has an awful thought. Which can't be true, what if Pat ( the guard ) has David Carmichael is a boyfriend. Alexandra back from the dead!! Poor Will!! No it must be a crazy thought, it couldn't happen could it?
-
Isn't it interesting how that comes up again. Will the wayward son, Darius the faithful son. both in need of the fathers guidance and love. Some stories never grow old or never lose their meaning for a modern world. What was true then is true now.
-
I agree with you. And would add two things: Brad was damaged because of his mother and Nick and Bitty. Stef was there for him and helped Brad survive, with Will, he was there but until Paris Will life wasn't damaged. These last few months, since Paris and Rome, but really the blow up and running away has changed Will. Grown up? Willing to see the other person's point of view? I'm not sure but all this drama wasn't a bad thing. If my idea in correct, and Jeff is Robbie's nephew It could be from Robbie's brother and Robbie is off a few years or maybe his sister had a child nobody knows about. Until the last few chapters Jeff has not acted weird, so maybe Jeff doesn't know he is Robbie's nephew. The only one who knows is Mark.
-
As I said in the chapter review: I think Jeff is Robbie's nephew. It would explain why Jeff liked Wade and not his cousin Matt. Also he had some of characteristics and those violet Hayes eyes. Maybe he was named after his great uncle Jeff. Just like in If it Fits and Bloodlines, Mark leaves us a few clues along the way. Another son with father troubles? Up to this point Jeff has been a minor character, maybe he is more than hired help. Would that shake up the family? Poor Robbie!
-
At the beginning of Bloodlines, I guessed that Matt was Robbie's son. I am willing to venture another guess: that Jeff is Robbie's nephew That would explain why Jeff look's like the Hayes boys and has some of the same characteristics. Also why he doesn't like Matt and Will (well doesn't want to have sex with them). I am surprised that Darius is still pushing it with Will. Although I can see it will take time for them to reinvent their relationship, more as equals that big and little brother. I can see Tony and Will together maybe down the road. It was also good to see how the relationships between Brad and Will and Robbie and Will is being restored. Mark, another great chapter. It was more than worth staying up to read.

- I thought rejection is a little harsh. I believe this forum purpose is to discuss different opinions about each chapter and the general story. Of all the duties a parent has raising their children is the most important. Nothing is more important, Nothing. That does not mean a parent has to spend every moment with his or her child. But is does mean that he must be there for him or her. If you read the last few chapters I think you will find that Mark has layed out a case that all parties are at failt. None of them is innocent. Brad said that they all need to do better. I could go into the mistakes and blunders they all made, but I think we all know them. I also never said Brad and Robbie didn't love Will, but that Will had a hard time believing they did. Even when my parents were upset with me, which was very rare, I always knew that they loved me. Both Will and JJ thought they were in the nicest orphanage in the state. I think it is easier for wealthy parents to abandon they children to the hired help. There are countless examples of this. What is most important, however, is that Brad, Robbie and Will have learned their lessons. And we got three of the best chapters in the whole saga: Brad and Will reuniting, Robbie and Will reuniting and Will joining Brad and Robbie in bed. I've always thought that life is a learn experence, every day we learn something new, hopefully these character believe that too.

The situation at the end of this last chapter (39) shows how families change with time. Darius has now left the family and him and Elia have created their own unit. Darius influence over Will and JJ has evolved. But maybe the greatest change is that Will and JJ are growing closer. Being about the same age and going to the same school helps.but I think Will growing up and seeing how his brother was effected by Jeanine leaving and the drama for the last few weeks has shown him that JJ was going through some of the same things he was. All either of these two guys wanted is their parents to care about them. I honestly don't think that is too much to ask for. When they stopped to looked at the situation, Brad , Robbie, Will and JJ found they all had lost their way. Their lives had gone out of control. It seemed like the love they had for each other was gone, but it was not. It was there maybe lost for a time, but still strong. So after all the damage, all the drama, what do we have? I think four people who understand what is really important and that really love each other. And that is a good thing, a very good thing.
