  1. Remember seeing him in Spartacus when I was a kid at the Fox theatre. There is that scene with Lawrence Olivier in the bath. Kind of got my attention. Some like it hot is a favorite also.
  2. Happy Birthday! Cammy!
  3. Born in 1949, so an even dozen for me, I wish they were doughnuts.

    Good luck with your quest.
  5. I find that a very reasonable attitude. I could talk to someone with that outlook.
  6. Happy Birthday! Steve Wildone! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Get the message?
  7. I have Enchantment on my nightstand. I think I will begin reading it tonight. This thread has reminded me how much I love Tanya.
  8. I found a lot of humor in this. I liked the narrator. It kind of reminded me of "Tales of the City". Your style of writing interested me more than distracted me. I felt I was encountering a new experience. Thanks for your story.
  9. It was a very good story line. People can be consumed with the past, especially an abusive one. How can you move forward? Sometimes it takes someone reaching back for them that makes a difference. Thanks for a good read.
  10. Happy Birthday! Leshwar!
  11. Happy Birthday! Mark M!
  12. Thanks for the story. I did cry.
  13. This was a fast read cause I really enjoyed reading it. It caught me at the beginning and I had to finish it. Thanks for your story. Hercules, was a great hero. I love romance and action adventure.
  14. Be more careful with that pretty face Thom. Chris, you snuck in while I was posting this, you are adorable as always.

  16. MikeL, somehow you look exactly the way I pictured you.
  17. Thanks for the story. I so want to rush out and save Martin. I think that might be the message here.
  18. I love it Douw. There is so much intensity and passion. It says so much and asks so much and hopes for so much. I am glad you posted.
  19. Thanks for your story. It is a mystery of mind tricks. A mad house of mirrors. Smoke and ash and was that magic. But I like reading it and unraveling it. Thanks.
  20. It has been a few years since I read the series, but I loved how they evolved from a story about Vicki, to one about Tony and Lee. I wish there would be a fourth Smoke. I even bought the dvd of the tv series for Blood, season one of Blood Ties. But I love Smoke and Shadows and Tony's job at a production company. I have read the Keeper's Chronicles and the Quarters series, but honestly I would have to read a synopsis to refresh my memory. But, I know I watched all the time for the release dates for Smoke. I was hooked.
  21. Yes, I have read the Smoke and Blood series. Love.
  22. I have often heard on this site authors comment that first and foremost they write for themselves. Well, I like writing poems, and I like reading them. I like to write stories and read them too. I like that I have the freedom to do that here. I don't like someone saying or implying that I don't have that freedom any more or that I shouldn't have that freedom or that this is not the place for that freedom. Poetry belongs here just like stories and blogs and chat and all of us who care about GA and want a good place to be.
  23. Just a wonderful story. Funny, endearing, sad, uplifting. And revealing. A great read. Thank you for your story.
  24. I just finished reading. I loved the ending. I like the personal told on a epic field of struggle. A love story and a final battle story with lots to think about. Thanks for a very enjoyable read. You know this could have a sequel. LOL. Maybe Please.
