This is my first time posting on your work. I have read the entire series over the course of the past week. I normally don’t go for the paranormal stories, but I have greatly enjoyed reading your stories. You do an excellent job of building the world, developing the characters and keeping a great pace of action in the stories across all of your books.
My only critique is that what initially drew me in was the love story between Greg and Scott. Sadly, in my opinion, Scott has largely become a background character over the course of the books. For example, Greg’s new role has dominated the story as it took halfway through book 5 for Greg and Scott to finally consummate their mating bond. Several other characters have considerably more dialogue and more significant storylines than Scott has at this point.
Please don’t get me wrong, I’m loving what you have written (obviously since I’ve read all 5 books in less than a week) but I hope you can get back to developing their relationship more before it gets lost to the Tetrarch they’ve now formed.
I will say it was nice to read your April Fools chapter to see that Greg still cares so much for Scott and would be lost without him. I don’t know that comes through as much in the main story as Billy has taken on an outsized role and Greg’s “sons” and Barony issues get most of Greg’s attention now.
Again, overall, loving the books! I’d just like more character development around Scott and his relationship with Greg.
Thanks!
