    Chapter 22

Hey, 22 chapters in or 2, I appreciate every review! Thanks, JayT. I do tend to throw a lot of questions at readers and then slowly reveal answers. I hope the patience to get them will be worth it!

    Chapter 22

Human werekin don't have the animal soul. They're 'lesser' because of that. At least to the old-fashioned, isolated groups. As for Ritch and Park... well, that's for later chapters. LOL

    Chapter 22

Questions, questions, and few answers. Deke definitely has to be going insane trying to figure out what's going on.
  4. Cia

    Chapter 22

Sorry! Deke and Park need a cohesive relationship to help keep the streak safe. Thanks for the 'believable' compliment! That is sooo important to me.

    Chapter 22

Park and Ritch... hmmm. Mebbe! LOL Sorry for the cut off, though. That 1k limit is brutal.
  6. Cia

    Chapter 21

Hmm... ;) Kraig's safety is definitely imperative for Deke's frame of mind, certainly.

    Chapter 21

Alpha powers are absolute to force the truth, but he has to be second guessing himself after the betrayal from Henry. The bbq will definitely be interesting!

    Chapter 21

One of the things about Deke is that he's young. Early 20s, new mate, betrayal from within his streak... that's a lot to handle.

    Chapter 21

Mebbe... I can't tell yet. That would be spoiling.
  10. Cia

    Chapter 20

    It did, but ouch!
  11. Cia

    Chapter 20

Oh, the alpha powers are a certainty, but he has to feel so rough about not seeing Henry's betrayal.
  12. Cia

    Chapter 20

More to come on all of that, certainly.

    Chapter 20

It was a rough scene to write. I can only imagine how he'd feel as the leader and someone who was raised alongside her sons.

    Chapter 19

    Yay!
  15. Cia

    Chapter 19

I do like to include all these thoughts and but... what about? Maybe? thoughts for readers. Thank you so much, Gary!
  16. Cia

    Chapter 19

It's definitely a traumatic situation that they're facing, and not knowing who to trust would be super hard.
  17. Cia

    Chapter 19

But that's the best part! For me, at least. Muahahahaha!
  18. Cia

    Chapter 18

Very devastating. It only makes sense, though, because there is just too much going on to not have someone on the inside.
  19. Cia

    Chapter 18

I do so love surprising readers!
  20. Cia

    Chapter 18

This was definitely a twist I thought no one would see coming!

    Chapter 18

    Thank you!
  22. Cassie Q's story, Geeks, was Monday's Signature Feature. Did you grab your copy of the signature banner so you can share your love for Cassie's story? If not, you can do that here! Today we're featuring her chosen excerpt. Cassie says... I like the excerpt because really shows what kind of person Mikeal is like, how he has to think about things for a long time and how something as simple as a kiss can throw him for a loop. It shows how attracted he is to the other boy, even though he's afraid to admit it. One of the things about the story that I like so much is how much Mikeal starts to come out of his shell and becomes more confident when he and the green haired boy (his name is Adam) start to date and fall in love. Chapter 23

“I used to wonder if I might have been better off, after my Alpha sold me to the streak, if the doctor had taken me.” Ritch shuddered. “I guess I was lucky he didn’t. Unless, of course, Frank gets his hands on me again.” “Not going to happen,” Park assured him. He shoved the books back on the shelf. “He’s right. I won’t allow anyone to take you from my lands, if you don’t want to go,” I said. The armoire was empty of anything but knickknacks. “I’m going to try the office. Make sure you put the
  24. This month features an older story by Cassie Q, but that is a big favorite of a lot of readers. It's one of her more lighthearted works, and the 17 chapters garnered over 90 reviews. Below, Cassie shared some of her favorites! Make sure you go check it out. Length: 64,139 Description: A shy Star Wars geek love falls in love with an outgoing anime geek. As friends, family and old flames get in the way, will the two find a way to make it work? Reviews: Headstall says… I loved, loved ,loved this story. These are wonderful characters that you brought to life. While there was lots of drama, none of it seemed contrived or over the top. Everything about this story came across as real and believable, nary a wrong note anywhere. I commend you and thank you for such a satisfying experience...Cheers and thanks...Gary Daddydavek says… Damn those geeky types sure are high maintenance and the sex scenes are smokin'. Cole Matthews says… Cassie, I love this story so much. I'm glad Mikeal found some resolution and is at peace with it. It has given me such pleasure. Thank you for writing and sharing it with us. 25. That depends on the context, how it's shown, and if there is sex our rules also state no stories can contain more than 50% sexual content or be the sole theme. Also, per our content guidelines non-consensual sex/rape, which is often inherent in a slave-fic story, is not allowed to be shown in a 'positive' light, so there's a narrow window where that theme might be accepted. If you contact me via PM with the gist of the storyline and/or share the already written story, I will do a review with the rest of the moderation team to check the content and give you a yes or now whether or not your specific story would be allowed.
