Just a minor observation: the scene about foreskins and uncut cocks was a little bit confused at times... “You’re pretty good at working an uncut cock hillbilly.” David rasped. I like the "Pieces of Purpose" idea, but I think you should write them yourself. Anyta's piece sort of clashed with the image of Gar/Will that I got from the Purpose chapters and from the other two "pieces". Of course it is in line with a "fan fic" that it is in a different voice, but I prefer consistency ...

I found this the best chapter yet. Finally a glimmer of light after the long buildup and all the angst. I liked the way you used the dark night as an aid for Blake to overcome his insecurities -
You're a tease. Another chapter, and still Trevor did not come out to Shane... how much longer are you going to torture him, and us? It isn't fair As to the story "dragging": I don't think so. I like long stories, and the scenery is also interesting in your epic (looking forward to the other half of the circumnavigation still to come ). But give Trevor a break, soon!

The latest "Attitude" features an interesting article on Anton Hysén, currently the only "out" professional soccer player. And Anton is not bad to look at

I started reading "Indiana Summer" after work last night and I am now about two thirds through it... staying up way too late! (it is 2:25 am where I live, as I am writing this). I just want to say that this story is among the very best that this site has to offer, and I sincerely hope that you find the time and energy to complete it. Thank you so much for posting it, what I've read so far is an awfully good read.

Was this the last chapter? I read a version of "Puppy Love" back in 2007 that ended here, but I always had the feeling that there could be more to the story.

What a great closing chapter! I really like the way you wrapped things up. Not just a standard happy ending, but it has a strong undercurrent of bittersweet emotion, that made it one of the best chapters in your novel.

I do like this story... but it is kinda confusing that it says "complete" in the story summary. That would sure be a waste of a good cliffhanger

I was in northern Queensland twice in the 1990's, and there they love to tell tall stories about sharks. I wonder if that is the same in Western Australia .Anyway, I love this story and I do hope you'll manage to keep posting regularly. Trevor is only halfway around the world yet ... I like the way you worked the key lime pie into this Australian chapter... nice touch of home for Trevor
