So this is my 500th post - I thought about all the different places to make it, then decided I would do it here. Along the lines of super sappy - thanks to everyone who commented on this thread, who left comments on the new review section, and especially for everyone who read the story. I wanted to find something snappy to add, but drew a blank. So instead of something witty, I decided for something that was more apropos: -
Chapter 1 - And So it Begins Again
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Nephylim's story chapter in Chapter 1 - And So it Begins Again
Not at all how I expected it to start, but then I don't really know what I should expect. Somehow I thought there would be more drama, more bad guys in the first 15 word, IDK. But this was both nice and scary. Shutting off the world is more of a problem then reverting back to a sex slave during their 'fun' times. Perhaps one feeds into the other. Poor River, despite his best intentions, he still has no idea what he is doing or what he has gotten into. -
Aw rats, I was SOOO sure that Matt is really Stuart in disguise. So much for my prognostication abilities. On a brighter note, at least now I don't need to work about a super power Matt flying to my house to kick my ass if I make him angry somehow - that's a relief
-
Matt needs to be careful what he promises. War is tricky stuff, no one is assured of coming home, especially not when, like him, you are on the front line. One question - Owen said everyone who dies on earth comes to Galwrock - is that going to be explained a bit later on? Chapters like this are great, its a slice of reality amidst an impending war. What I mean is, in the back of our [the reader] minds, the enemy lurks, yet we are still able to see their lives and their struggles away from the war in a way that gives us further insight into who they are. I thought it was good. Andy
-
That was a rather fun start - be interested to see where you go with it. But for a 'straight' guy, Oscar made sure to come out with style. I can see how this would upend his life rather drastically. Hopefully there will be more chapters to follow. Andy

Chapter 35: Sunday Afternoon
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 35: Sunday Afternoon
What happens next might be harder than Barbara trying to force Jason back in the closet, have to see, but it is not completely smooth sailing ahead, not yet - if ever I suppose [no that is not a cryptic message just an observation that life is rarely smooth sailing, there's always something that pops up.] Andy -
Chapter 34: Sins Of The Past Revisited
Andrew Q Gordon commented on Andrew Q Gordon's story chapter in Chapter 34: Sins Of The Past Revisited
Well since you are 'late to the party' I won't say much since I just saw you reviewed 35 . As I've said in a few other comments, the idea that your last words were to curse at the person you love and then to find out that had you not stormed off what he had planned, we yeah. Not the best feeling I suppose. Thanks for reading Sara. -

Monty, Glad you liked it. There is a bit still ahead of these two until we say goodbye, but at least now they have a fighting chance. Thanks for taking the time to comment and for reading Andy -
James: 4?!?! I swear if we have 3 or more, I am going to get my own reality show - either that or I might need to sell one or more of the on eBay. Thanks James. Eric: Thanks - you mom is so right. I have given up on the idea I will be ready when they arrive [Yeah I am resigned that it will likely be more than one]. My goal is to just deal with it as it happens - and get lots of Valium for Mike. He is still holding onto the idea he can keep the house neat and clean. His rude awakening is coming. LOL Arl: Thank - we might need it

Wow, Shane said almost the same thing in the reviews - were you two planning to come kick my ass together LOL [Not that you would need help, your Kung Fu is way better than mine ] No worries about the review, this is very cool - I think in some ways I prefer here because we can go back and forth - after the exchange we all had with Nephy over Hostage, I kinda took to this medium a lot better - of course none of us can match her one word reviews like "bitch!" Thanks again Stuart. Andy -
Thanks - appreciate it. I hope the rest of it lives up to everyone's expectations. Andy

Wow, you might win the award for longest review. Mom's turn around worried me a bit but if you read post #178 on the discussion topic for the story you will see it was based in part on my mother's reaction/turn around. As for tissues, I am not sure if you will need them or not, maybe?? Sorry, I can't give away too much, but I promise not to beat anyone else into a coma [well no one we like at least - I can't be responsible for what happens in jail ] Thanks for the review and for reading. -

Well I was getting some dirty looks from a few folks LOL. J/K. But thank you for the kind words, this really and truly is the first novel I have written, so I am no more seasoned than I have said. I have taken a writing class with a wonderful instructor who I now call friend but she has not reviewed this other than to say it was wordy. [Yes I still love her to death even after that ] People saying thanks has indeed been an inspiration to not only finish this but to try to make it better along the way. I think that has happened, but I also read so many other people on here who are so talented that I keep working at what I am doing just to catch up. Thanks again for the post - Andy Oh great Benji Karnak - I truly truly hope my not wrapping up what happens to Jordan and the others won't disappoint folks. I thought about it, but I decided to deal with that as a short story companion to this to be posted a bit later on. Some of what happens will be revealed, that would have to be one of the more autobiographic chapters as it will draw heavily on my work for material, but as for the trial and outcome, this story will wrap up before that can happen. But rest assured, I do not plan to let Jordan buy his way out - there is a certain Tellerman/Henry who is not enamored with Jordan's mom these days, someone who, along with her family, has more money than the six assailants have combined. No, in the world of who has more money, Barbara and family might not be flashy, but they are the real deal so the richies won't be able to bluster their way out of this so easily. Next chapter in a few days. No cliffs for a while - promise. -

I'm not sure I would read too much into Peter's saying let's just forget it. As I tried to touch on, Peter blames himself for most of the fight, and if Jason didn't leave, Peter wouldn't have been out alone, etc. But you are correct, it would be hard for this not to affect Peter - or Jason - given how traumatic an event this was. As always, thanks for reading and commenting. -

Thanks Geoff, obviously, you were the first to say at the end of the last chapter that Peter doesn't die because what the hell would I do for 12 more chapters LOL. Hopefully this didn't disappoint you. But at least I didn't do the amnesia bit on Peter, right -

Okay what is probably even weirder is that although this is not autobiographical, many things come from me - REM being one of them. Hmm. Glad you are enjoying it.
