Chapter 49: Moving On

Thanks - so I missed this - I've been away a bit for work issues. The sex at the end was a bit of both - more so to show a counter to what happened during their less than perfect times. For a bit more that shows life with Dean around, I've started doing short stories int he Flash Fiction section that picks up with their senior year -which is Dean's Freshman year. I've considered taking the story and tweaking it some, cutting it up into two and putting it in an eBook form to let people read it on their eReaders more easily. We'll see if I ever get to that. Thanks JoAnn, I'm trying to keep them age appropriate. It helps that I'm not quite age appropriate so I can relate to their ages still- a bit at least.

I think Ethan may be my favorite non-main character. I suspect he really needs his own book. I wish I had no day job and I'd crank out about 10 books before the year is out. But the evil day job just keeps asking me to do work for my pay check. Sigh. Glad you liked it, I'm trying for a bit less serious and a bit more - this is their lives, sometimes it's interesting but not necessary earth shaking. So hopefully folks enjoy

Blake's one of my favorite sub characters maybe second only to Ethan. Maybe my next book should be these two from Ethan's POV. Have to see. But I think what you have is the vocal elements -Matt, Darryl, Jason and and a few others - are clearly fine with it, but everyone on the team? I don't think that's realistic. Will they say much? Carlos Tha made me laugh. No one pays attention to me when I do that. you so made my day. For that I'll tell you that Dean is next on the list. I had some of the same ideas but one you suggested I really like but I'll let you know after I post it. I've got one or two scenes left with these two then ill tackle Dean. I'd not want to give away too much, but folks already know what's up with Matt it should be fine unless someone does or says something silly. Not that any of the 'boys' would do that right?

Next chapter will be up by week's end I hope so watch for it. As for Ethan and Blake, I still think there is going to be a bit of an adjustment period even if things go 'well' But that's how it should be right?

Haha, write faster - if you knew how much this cost me in term of writing things for the publisher. Not that I'm complaining, but it is a time drag so I'm glad I can keep doing this much and you want more??

This story has taken on a life of it's own, I almost said too bad I never wrote it to publish it, but on second thought I'm glad it is where it is. It helped me in many many ways.

Tis true, but it is also true that when you hurt the ones you love the most, you regret those times exponentially more, but maybe once the trial is over they can move on.

Don't forget, Matt nearly beat the crap out of Blake for calling Jason a fag the beginning of last year. SO for him, it was not harsh. But well hopefully this is the end of things.

Reading when you can turn the page if you like is always nice, but you also miss being able to chat about it before it is resolved. Matt always had Jason's back so it's only fair to expect him to want to resolve things with his friend sooner than later.

My thoughts with this are that Blake isn't exactly looking for a fuck buddy, so he's not exactly just in it for the sex. Ethan has trouble expressing himself seriously, so he uses jokes to try to avoid that - But maybe together they'll be good. right?

See the short chapters work okay if you read them in bunches Ethan is probably a lot more mature than the jokester attitude he uses as a public face. But Blake is about to learn that I think.

I don't think Blake is quite that daring - and definitely not yet. Just my thoughts, but what do I know?
