Way to go Mark, in one chapter you have opened a multitude of story lines and all have the potential to be interesting adventures. With all those adventures to look forward to, I will agree with the person that said give them all A's and keep writing, but I know that is not reasonable.

One of the reasons I had rather post here rather than review is that only the author gets more than one shot at saying something there. Here if you made the same comment about you being predictable, I could quote and call bull shit. There I can only laugh and wonder how many others wanted to say bull shit to that comment.

Interesting to see William take an interest in the sea. Spenser moving Granger and crew to London makes me wonder where they will be sent for this new adventure. Something makes me think the Baltic might need some Granger intrigue.

I agree with you Westie. I enjoy the CAP because Mark tells a great story, but love the Granger stories because I do feel and enjoy the bits of history Mark manages to weave into the story. I feel so invested in the Bridgemont series. I am confident Mark could write a story about two frogs fucking and it would be enjoyable, but he has something special when it comes to George Granger.

The reason we haven't seen the impressive side of this ship is it is not built for speed or great handling. It is built to take and throw a punch. As soon as we have to take on another frigate or two I think you will be impressed with this war wagon. She is not a racing filly, she is a fighting bitch.

Another wonderful installment featuring my favorite sea captain. I can't help but wonder what kind of mischief our loveable captain and his grumpy old admiral can find on their voyage home. I know in my bones Mark is just waiting to spring some intrigue upon us. The voyage out was just too mundane for this cast of characters.

Glad to see George and crew at sea. It should be interesting to see how Granger and his old grumpy admiral friend manage to get along and what sort of intrigue they might encounter on their short voyage home. {Something tells me Mark has something up his sleeve.}

Another wonderful chapter and boys are coming together to become a team. Some very interesting possibilities Mark has staged to thrill us with his imagination and magic.

Damn it is nice to see Granger has another Travers for fun and games. The ship and crew are coming together nicely. Can hardly wait for the next chapter.

I can be adventurous in or out of pocket. It does depend on the pocket at times though.

Wow Hornblower and Granger on the same ship. One with no confidence in himself and the other knows no bounds in that regard. It should be interesting how Mark deals with this pair.

I am so excited about the start of this latest Granger adventure. I am getting a late start, but that gives me three chapters at once to enjoy.

Wow a lot has changed/happened for the month I have been out of pocket. I have not had a chance to read the stories or these posts as of yet. This is just a quick not to say I am impressed with the amount of activity while I have been gone. I will get busy reading tonight and hopefully catch up fairly quickly.

Another fantastic chapter. As I have said, I view these final two chapters with a little dread, knowing the next one is the last. I love the Granger series and look forward to learning about the next one.

I guess that is good news and bad news. Good in we get a new chapter soon and bad in that it is next to last. I hope you have a new saga planned to follow quickly. I'm a greedy bastage.

I think we have a chance at new story line "Governor George". Mark is very talented, but I am not sure even he could make that compelling. Whatever comes next Mark will make it exciting. I am not sure George can manage without some wind and salt air in his face.
