(Where you moved into your new place a few weeks ago. Once you thought you had the whole place the way you wanted it you noticed something was off. Things kept being moved around, furniture rearranged, and even pictures moved to different rooms. At first you were willing to think maybe you were just that forgetful but as you describe your new place to someone who has lived in this town their whole life you get a different story. Your new home is the site of a famous murder and it is suspected to

Your story has great taste in reviewers. I have faithfully read this through and realized I had yet to read the last few chapters. You are now on my favorites list and I will get reminded when this wonderful story continues. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about Lucca, Jeremy, Addie, Sam and even the uninspired Matt. Thanks for posting this. You have one more fan. Richard

Okay... This is terrific stuff..butni'm getting all kinds of deja vu here...I'm pretty sure I found this back in June July and forgot to like it, or favorite this or follow it.. Will find out. Enjoying the story, the singing Angel, the angst ridden Lucca....notice momentarily as I favorite this story...now!

‘On a scale of one to ten, this headache is definitely a fifty or better.’ I open my eyes tentatively. It appears I am laid out on a window sear of sorts, and the room is moving…sort of swaying. I peer about the space I am in…a cabin maybe. I believe I on board a vessel much larger than my modest boat. The last thing I remember, you see, is being aboard making her ready for my friends’ return. I open my eyes again. Someone is above me. “Good, you’re finally awake.” He stands up. He is a h

Circumnavigation (99+46) Now It's Personal
Swhouston44 replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
You know...I really felt all mistletoe-y and eggnogg-y as I read this chapter....Oh and Feliz Navidad to you CJ....and I felt all Chris Cringle-y as I read of Bridget's response to old Skippy the Bush Kangaroo(one of my favorite Saturday Morning Cartoons in the State's mind you) I can't believe Trevor is going to attempt the poalr route again...at least this time with a functioning boat and real clothes and more than weiners for fodder. Great to have you back...enjoying the heck out of this story. -
Two things to think about....the title....Now It's Personal...sort of ominous...and pointing to the rapidly approaching two words I have dreaded...and looked forward to in this tale: The End. second I get to look forward to a Christmas Eve Cliffie.....WOO-HOO!!!! We get a chapter tomorrow night!!!!!!

The Second Cut is the Deepest

Come on... make Corbin grow a set and give the Blighter a kiss for goodness' sake! Good story so far... -
“Please, tell me that time is wrong, or I am in so much trouble.” "Sorry, Sweetie!" The perky honeyed blonde cooed in her posh-speak. "That clock is spot on." "Well, you can just kill me now, because when I next see Rose, my hide will fly right below the Union Jack." "Rose, huh?" She asked. "That doesn't sound like the name of a vindictive person." "We'll, you are right on for the most part, but this happens to be our two years together anniversary." "Why are you so late then?" "Fell asl

Last of the Summer Wine
Swhouston44 commented on Swhouston44's story chapter in Last of the Summer Wine
Thank you very much Joann...I enjoyed reading one or two of your writing prompts posted the past few weeks. Tell me this mam; why the heck aren't you posting your stories? Shame on you.... Thanks for your review, Richard -
Thanks Joann, Still don't know what killed him, but this was a farming community, and people live by different rules there. Thanks for reading it and reviewing Richard

The last of the wine from the remaining cask filled to brimming a few pitchers lined up on the serving tables. The guests finally calm, had begun to drop face to the table, one by one, a charger their only pillow. My cousin’s parents were seated opposite each other, smiling benignly at the actions of their cousins. Roots, leafy greens, breads, and soups continued to be served to those guests cognizant enough to signal. Meat had been absent at the meal. I’d kill for even a morsel of rabbit.

Once upon a time there was a kitten named (changed the name to protect the innocent) Sox. He was a real mutt of an animal, but was so pale grey he was nearly white, long hair herringbone coat. At the time I had several other cats residing with me and Gordon. We lived right downtown in a microscopic community of almost 3000, but was 50 miles from Houston. A business client had given Sox to me. He was barely six weeks old at the time. Ziggy, a darker grey tom, Sherman, a ginger Manx, and Ram

Dusty....second story I;m reading with a character with Dust in his name.... Looks like Zak's gonna get more than lessons on horsemanship from Dusty..... Enjoying this ...more review next chapter.

I read most of this just now, but recognized instantly I have read it before, and recently, and not necessarily on GA. I can certainly empathize with Zak being sort of a loner, but getting on well with children and computers. Now, I have to apologize for not reviewing this when I read it the first time.

Circumnavigation (99+42) Commands From Afar

it is great to see Bridget squirm. I can't wait to see what happens next time, though for nearly 3 years I visit this site every week to read this story This continues to be a terrific ride. Thanks -
A great read this week. . . Bridgett's fun got a bit ruined with the bomb discovery. I like how the story's pace seems to increase as we get close to the end. I've had three years reading Circumnavigation!!!!!!! Dayumm!!! Kudos to Mr. James

Family's and mourning, nothing like it. I can't say I enjoyed this, sadness and anger are never fun things for me. Thanks for sharing this with us. This is very good writing, and the story caused a good bit of de ja vu for me. RC

Circumnavigation (99+40) Sweet Sorrow
Swhouston44 replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
Great fun reading this as the story's end (Hopefully not the end of Trevor or Shane, etc.) rapidly approaches. Love when someone in an earlier review called the things I don't see any more HINTS. lol Maybe there are some cliffs under the water.... -
Circumnavigation (99+39) Gobsmacked
Swhouston44 replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
Great chapter as always. Noticed you actually described cliffs, and hinted at the possible demise of Trevore, Shane, etc. How could I ever think you were capable of leaving us hanging week after week with cliffhangers? I am so ashamed of myself (in monotone). Enjoyed reading the boys were getting to do a abit of Canoodling (Kissing). Poor Trevor went without for way too long. lol -
Circumnavigation (99+38) Manipulating The Beast
Swhouston44 replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
Its hard to believe you have counted down to 5 or so more chapters. It seem s like only the last year or so you were saying 8. I'd imagine its sort of disheartening to put so much effort into writing so much for so long to get no feedback. Whether we get to hear anymore from Trevor or not, I have enjoyed reading this story and learning a bit about the geography of Australia, and hearing way too many ways to die at sea than I ever wanted to . Now, to what I wanted to raise heck about...As this story begins to wind down, is it my imagination, paranoia maybe, or are there still quite a few cliffs on the horizon? -
Chapter 4 Something's In The Air Tonight...
Swhouston44 commented on Naptowngirl's story chapter in Chapter 4 Something's In The Air Tonight...
I agree with the sentiments of KC Grim. I don't want Heath to be a bad guy...I guess we're a bit late tho. I like this maple smoked barbecue chapter, and the fact that Heath is sinking fast, if he asn't already sunk neath the waves of LUU-UUV. I read the coming attractions and can see how the cogs might be turning in that fertile mind of yours.... I know....Same Bat channel Same Bat Time..... RC RC
