  1. If it's done behind the other partners back, it's a sure and usually quite a quick way to misery for some participant. It's all about respecting the relationship your in. If it makes one feel bad, it usually is cheating. Discuss the limits with your partners, folks and dont' take things for granded. Some pairs are more than willing to explore outside the monogamy and that's fine if it's both's decision.
  2. So, was it as sad for the two of you as it was for me?
  3. Mostly Finnish, but my grandpa is from Russia.
  4. I haven't, but sice I've been trapped in a movieland tonight, I'd love to know the answer too! Just watched Dream Boy and Soldier's Girl. And now starting Shank. Common factor with these: not comedies. I need to laugh soon...
  5. To me it's the it-factor or the wow-effect that swuups my feet of the ground and generally it has never been about the looks. "My type" lives only in the world of la la-land. In my eyes the person I'm interested or have feelings to becomes the most beautiful and interesting one in the world. I want to lern her/him the best way possible. Even at the ugliest moment that person turns me on. Most important common factors with all my short list of partners have been intellectuality and sweetness and being generally open minded. I'd never date a bitch or a macho idiot no matter how good the looks. Ps. I'm not the Prinsess Di type either.
  6. What's the saddest movie you have ever seen? I watched "Dream Boy" tonight and I almost dyed of sadness. There really should be enough warnings if the story is so cruel. Still it was a beautiful love story between to boys and I recommend it with a full heart. Just prepair yourself with enough tissues or a shoulder to cry on... Thank god I have a friend who quickly cheered me up with a new story of hers.
  7. I use music alot to get to a mood. I also draw on the side. And I get emotional through the characters and I have to stop sometimes just for a good cry. I've been like that since a kid. I love taking myself to emotional rollarcoasters through writing or scetching.
  8. Do the folks here (younger or older) know the legendary gay icon Tom of Finland's art? I'm gonna go and see an exhibition next summer! Jeij!
  9. Oh I used to love making gingerbread houses, maby I'll do one this year! You are so right about the kids, I think it's most important for the sweet and innocent ones!
  10. Hello GA folks! Do you have anything special planned for the christmas? Are you spending it with family, friends or alone? I was thinking to keep things really simple this year. Just me and my mum and my two cats. I separated recently and have no kids. So it's kinda hard to get the holiday spirits up. Plus I have to work at least some of the days. And then there is this religion and consumption thing too. I'm atheist and I don't have the same meaning to the christmas traditions anymore as a kid. And I hate to buy stuff for presents' I like to give my cose ones something I've made myself. This year it's gonna be a few short stories and a couple of drawings and some massages to my friends.
  11. Huh, my mistake,
  12. Well we spoke in Finnish and that's why I'm sertain that he ment homosexyual love stories. Aleksi is a Finnish name, that's why not Alex. (don't ask about the Connors part cause that's aprt of the plot. And the guy was acting totally straight hitting on me, lol. Oh, I didn't think the name had any gay vibes in it either.
  13. My story is still in progress and I haven't posted it anywhere so he hasn't red it yet. He deffinitelly seems straight to me, but I've been wrong before.
  14. Does Aleksi Connors sound a gay character to you? I told a few of my friends in a party that I write, not what I write. Then one dude herd one of my main characters is named Aleksi Connors, and he just laughed that I write gay stories. Right, that I do, but I'm thinking he's reading them. How in the hell does he come up with that kind of responce otherwise? Later tonight when we were alone he totally denied saying it, and blamed other people on it. Weird. And telling I think. I'm sure he shit on his pants and I feel kinda sorry for him. I never told him that I do write gay staff, and I never got to it when he started to deny it. Do you agree he is a closet gay story reader, not that it matters or is this a common first assumption in your mind simply based on a character's name?
  15. I started my GA experience on DomLuka 2 weeks ago and still have some left to read and I'm dyig on waiting him finish With Trust. I'm in LUUUUVVVV with his stories, altough reading them consumes most of my limited free time. Currently I'm reducing my sleeping time from both ends to have some work done and have my healthy dose of larger than life fiction. I'm always scared to start a new story, I'm totally lost in fiction... like Alice in Wonderland... Little warning mr Mark Arbour, you are next on my reading line,... Something tells me I'm not gonna be dissapointed . To the newbie starter of this conversation: as a newbie too I constantly search on recommendations to find escapist reading, sometimes they hit right on mark (no pun intended) sometimes on the rocks. I stumbled on DomLuka allmost by accident. Lucky me.
  16. One humble and serious DOMAHOLIC here. I've red everything in the shortest time ever, and that means putting the rest of my life on hold. Dom Luka's responsible for me ending up prowsing at GA.
